Thank you @cabelindsay! The original sound of this song is because the composer, Vladimir Vysotzky, was a revolutionary, he broke so many paradigms in the former Soviet Union. He was the first singer-songwriter there, and although he was no very well seen by the government, people loved him and turned him into one of the most important songwriters of all times in Russia. He had a very impressive way of performing because he was an actor, and so are his songs.
