I am back from HiveFest10 - Second amazing experience on Hive! Part 1/4
But I now predict 4 posts instead... the experiences ARE getting TOO MANY! Downloading experiences are getting crazy!
After some sleep, which by the way took me several times waking up (3 to 6 max, can't remember). Although it was challenging... and please apologise to any incoherencies from now on... it has been a while and my buffer memory is not as good as NVMe! I will try to recall as much as I can...
But I have woken up with the juices of a new place I have never been...

The history of the Journal place was resonating with me... stuff I enjoyed when I was young! My father and mother made sure I could understand these things... @ahig is my dad on this chain, even if he does not watch posts as frequently as I do. But he believes and curates Me in real life!
Either way, the hotel was full of art, technology that I had been interacting with when I was young. I felt somehow in a recent world, but also in a place I knew I had to adapt (heat wise 🔥).
And this morning, I had the pleasure to join breakfast (randomly and not planned) with @blocktrades and his kin (apologies for not having more references, keen on having my mind refreshed if they're thrown), who both were around and so pleasant to talk to, both!... and soon, @roelandp has arrived to join the feast 😏
A few minutes later, @detlev re-said hello! On the same table... and this amazing getting into @hivefest started to go so 💖... it was person after person...
I can't explain how it feels... but it feels SO GOOD! 🤩
It's people you identify with... You TALK and SHARE stuff with. YOU are YOU at those moments. Simple!
The way of looking into this chain of contributors was always as much as I could in my best unbiased way. But every time you are next to a Hive person, whoever that person is... You feel something different, awesome to cherish!
And you KNOW Who YOU ARE!

(right, up to this was hard to write, I confess, but it had to be the right thing)
Eventually, after breakFAST (wish was slower this morning), we settled for going (as the people in the group) to explore...
Someone was having a picture too! 😏
Inside the "metro" was fresh... easy 10-15°C lower in temperature! From the 32-33°C outside!
One thing I loved about the metro of Kuala Lumpur was the fact that stations have a way to figure it out... where you should go! Also very cheap transportation.
Note: Merdeka Station was the most amazing station for Portuguese people! 😁
This was absolutely intense for my standards...

We were going to visit things that should have been open, but looked like closing after midday!
Either way, and despite how warm it was, these looked like very adapted cultures... Almost like preparing for other countries to be very open on how to react.

I haven't yet understood why those sprayers keep going... eager to learn from the Hive community!
But I had to record this moment... which looked almost like some places in Lisbon...
Either way, the resemblance of the Singapore boat hotel is at least noticeable!
Then we went through a couple more streets... 🐦🔥🔥❤️🔥 I was fricking on fire! (heat temperature wise LOL). And at this time, I recalled talking with my wife @sarapm about it and saying hello to the kids.
Then I saw this...
FUck it! 🤯
Loook at THAT! And I have videos...
And that was another one we could not get in... apparently they were on lunch time!
After this... I was pretty depleted... and some amazing souls like @sagarkothari88 brought me a refreshing drink...
I eventually paid him via HBD! That felt amazing. It always feels like that, I would say.
Then we got back to the hotel... and prepared for some rest at the pool! THE...

Gosh, it's SO hard to condense this much information!
The amount of stuff happening all over the place...
It was raining... it was an epic moment on 11th floor, witnessed by me and (some) @hivefest people at the time, where I had to invite some recognition... into this 😍 liquid pool (soon to be overflown by any others)
Now, try to figure out this picture, the scene while listening to this song! 🤘
That's how we sort of felt! 😏🤘

Barely helped when the water was 26C 🤣 - but it felt great!

Thanks for making me remember this first walk! 😂I wore flip flops and lesson learned hahaha.
Hahahah! I had flip-flops too, but for the pool!
