I am back from HiveFest10 - Living the HiveFest of it! Part 2/4
Where was I on the last post?... pool? right? rain... preparing for the start of HiveFest? Yes!!!

How should I describe that night?... hummm... let's see... I have the above photo...

LOL, it means I have enjoyed Lots of talking with everyone and meeting some new Hive people around. I was also pretty tired because the day before, I didn't sleep straight (jet lagged).
You will find lots of pictures from that night on others' posts anyhow, so you can have a good feeling about it there.
I went to bed quite early that night (for my standards), and slept like a baby.
The 2nd day (Thursday)
Morning breakfast and COFFEE at the Journal Hotel... getting ready to take the Metro to go into the first day of the conference.
@louis88 was ready, and these guys were chilling (both Louis and the cat)!

Really enjoyed this year's shirts, material-wise and promo-wise, with that big @worldmappin in the back of @hirohurl (above photo), basically showing every person following us, something to think about, perhaps investigate via Google search (which, if you do, comes straight in first place, which is awesome to see, and without adverts).
After dropping out of the Metro, we walked a bit more towards the venue location. Every place you pass through in Kuala Lumpur has (to me) its own beauty, even if some places lack a bit of maintenance.
Either way, quick photo (above), and then catch up with @rmach and @arcange before I get lost! LOL (later added the location into Google Maps, as all of us could easily lose the trail of people by appreciating the environment or taking photos).

Then once you got inside, we were presented with a banquet, and the highlight of this was the watermelon? mix juice at the end (pointed by my red arrow). Refreshing and very delicious.
Coffee was good too.
And then @hivefest began! The majestic @roelandp started with some MEMORIAL lane things π, and after a few minutes, we were in business.
The focus I want to promote here is the support everyone provides to make these things happen, and how that happens in a natural way (at least the bits I was able to see, and I am sure there's way more that I don't know).

So, and because there is already enough content around, about the conference, you can help Hive going places we haven't even had conferences, by either sharing or liking stuff on Web2. This helps extremely with exposure, and it's free.
And given most of the long-term exposure is probably going to be via YouTube, I am going to recommend people watch the content there again. Subscribe and like!

My first Random Onboarding
By the end of the first day of the conference, and even before the music stuff started... I got my first "random" onboarding person ever! And in the above photo, I haven't even noticed it was him.
I am speaking about @jetyap that I have onboarded via https://checkinwith.xyz app (that you can use via the Hive Keychain browser). And if you have spare Hive Account creation tokens like me (even if you don't have, a Hive account is peanuts), you can create accounts for other new Hive people and even delegate some RC for them to play around and discover how it all works.
Anyhow, talking with Jet was super enjoyable, and we scraped so many good subjects from blockchain ages ago, all back into actual times. Time flew so fast, by the time we realised, the show was over... π€¦ββοΈ

@louis88, @rivalzzz, @detlev, @techcoderx and @cryptospa, we were the first ones to arrive. The thirst for a BEER was real... but first we had some water π

After food, conversations went all over the place...
This picture of the price of #Bitcoin acts as a great "pricestamp". This peculiar 3D printed device (which I have yet to explore something about) was a broadcast by @detlev π on the spot, using his "posting" key. Why? Well, it does not involve any "value transfer", hence you only need your posting authority to broadcast this type of transaction.
Finishing this up now...
Around the same time, together with @starkerz (@louis88, not in the picture) and @rivalzzz we were sharing some opinions and doing live testing with the Hive Debit card and other related topics. All super geeky and cool stuff you get excited to talk about in a Pub, or for that matter, anytime there are Hive people around.
One last topic... #HPUD
This post is already above 5 min (reading time), so I am trying to keep it short (I might need another 5th post, unsure yet). But I wanted to bring people's attention to #HivePowerUpDay and remind you that we are trying to beat up these more than 1k PowerUps on the first day of November.
I have done my PowerUp... and decided to also award 10 HP to @jetyap (surprise!). We have just been chatting for a good amount of minutes moments ago, and I really enjoyed it. So, this is my way of saying, thanks!

Love the emphasis on community and participation! Hive really thrives when everyone shares and supports each other. πͺ
I love especially the human interaction that doesn't exist on other chains. It's a unique thing on Hive... in my view.
People find each other, and sometimes even talk with each other for years... like they have known each other forever. Then they meet! π and the world π€―
Not been the first time this has happened in life... and LOVE IT!
Maybe that's the reason my kids are how they are... π²
I don't want to brag, but with all you lot being on the other side of the world, this made me feel proud.
