The theme for blog of the month "I'm a Silver Blogger, Why?"
This took me back four years ago, when I was first introduced to Steemit by my dear friend @lizelle.
I had no idea at all how the blockchain worked or what to expect.
I was very skeptical at first going into the "unknown" so to speak, having no idea on how anything there worked, let alone write a post and publish it, one could say, I was a virgin blogger at the time Lol!

Well!...with a little help from my friend and lots of "trial and error", I posted my first post on Steemit.
As I regained more confidence in my ability to write posts and received positive comments, encouraged me tremendously; also meeting some awesome people around the world, I continued unabated, enjoying every moment thoroughly.

Unfortunately, life got in the way, which lead me to abandon my blogging for awhile.
A year went by, then my friend introduced me to Hive, after a few weeks of convincing, I gave in and posted my first post on Hive Blockchain.
I must say, the journey on Hive has been nothing else but exciting and pure joy, I can't imagine being on any other platform than here.
I've learnt so much and know I have lots more to absorb on how things work.
I'm not the best in the west and have plenty areas for improvement; I'm ready to learn.😊
The question is: Why I'm a "Silver Blogger"?

When @lizelle said she was going to start the "Silver Bloggers Community"
I was excited and knew with her handling the reins, it could only be successful.
I've seen the community grow into an awesome platform where, not only the retired young at heart folk can share and earn some passive income, the young ones with an old soul can enjoy the wisdom as well.
I've become a "Silver Blogger", not because I'm old and almost silver, (trying very hard to get the blonde mop to turn silver) I enjoy the Community for their warmth, generosity and respect they have for each other.
Being a Silver blogger, I'm able to share my thoughts and aspirations with my fellow Silver Bloggers experiencing their way of life and ideas, learning and being encouraged by them.
There are so many wonderful people I've met in this community like @fionasfavourites, @coguicoin, @mondoshawan, @ifarmgirl,@papillioncharity, @traciyork and so many others, who have made "Silver Bloggers Community" the most comfortable platform to be in.
That's why I'm a "Silver Blogger", not only because I'm a retired young at heart gal ,but!.... because I love blogging.
Where "Silver Mamma Chef" can also share her menu's as well.
Thank you all In "Silver Bloggers Community" for creating such a vibrant and exciting platform for us "Silver Bloggers" we appreciate all of you.

Always interesting learning from each other, only ever meet some in certain communities since I don't do food, art, needle work as topics to write about. Meet we will somewhere along the Hive path.
They're all are amazing people, the gardening community is another beautiful community which I like very much.
Have not looked into gardening community, spend a lot of time in the garden with indigenous plants that I moved across to 30 years ago, now enjoy everything that visits.
Looks like @lizelle should win a prize for all the wonderful silver blogger members she's drawn to the community.
