My HIVE Journey
A Creative Adventure Unveiled
Embarking on my HIVE journey has been nothing short of a creative odyssey, but first let me open a window and shed some light on why I am writing this blurb. The end of 2023 is drawing near, thus precipitating a reflection of sorts. This past year has been a year of change, a year of trials and tribulations, a year of eventful setbacks and achievements in my life. And that's okay. Sometimes my life needs to "chill out and reset" so to speak.
Reflection ..
This morning I felt like reflecting on my HIVE journey .. from start to finish, would do me some good. I never really found a good theme to my blog, like some others here on the chain. But that's fine. My blog makes sense to me, because as it turns out, it has evolved into a pretty realistic reflection of my life; a good mix of everything that I enjoy about living and somethings that I don't. How can I be disappointed with that?
This past year or so, life got in the way a little as it often has a tendency to do so. Life left little room for the pleasures of blogging. As I pulled away from my HIVE journey a little, put additional focus into my career, and prepared to loose another furry member of our family, I was reassured that even with a lack of control, life has a way of working itself out.
Everything will be okay. And I am okay with that.
Art, Photography, Furry Family Experiences, Orchids .. My blog posts are truly a rare mix of what makes me, me. As I write a quick glimpse into my HIVE experience below, shaped by these things I enjoy about life, I'll offer a sample of my cherished, seemingly random, photos. These visual snapshots, dispersed throughout my previous blog entries, act as a cohesive thread intricately woven into the tapestry of my narratives. I hope they bring you a small amount of pleasure this first Saturday in December.
And So I Start ..
From the very first post to the latest endeavors, each step on this decentralized platform has been a unique exploration of self-expression, community engagement, and the boundless possibilities of blockchain technology. So today I reflect on why my experiences and the evolution of my creative process on HIVE, mean so much to me. It is not a story of my journey, but more a encapsulation of what I enjoy most about The Hive Blockchain.
The Genesis .. My journey on HIVE started with a simple idea – to share my passion for art and creativity with a global audience. The platform's decentralized nature and reward system immediately caught my attention, promising a fair and transparent environment for creators like me. Little did I know that this would be the beginning of a personal transformative adventure, that keeps evolving day in and day out. An adventure that has left me with no regrets so far.

Engaging with fellow creators, curators, and enthusiasts has been a constant source of inspiration. The comments, feedback, and collaborations that have unfolded through the platform have not only enhanced my work but also enriched my overall creative experience.
Navigating the Peaks .. As I delved deeper into the HIVE ecosystem, I discovered the PeakD interface – a user-friendly portal that facilitates seamless interaction with the HIVE blockchain. From crafting posts to exploring trending content, PeakD became my go-to platform for navigating the peaks of this decentralized landscape.
Evolution of Content .. My posts on HIVE have evolved over time, mirroring my personal growth and the dynamic nature of the creative process. Whether it's showcasing my latest art pieces, sharing funny stories involving our furbabies Molly and Pepper, writing about insights into my creative journey, or participating in community challenges, each post has contributed to a diverse tapestry of content that reflects my passion and engagement within the HIVE community, while revealing certain passions and vulnerabilities to my audience.
Challenges and Triumphs .. Like any creative journey, my HIVE experience has been marked by challenges and triumphs. No matter how personal or intimate the topic, overcoming hurdles, adapting to feedback, and celebrating successes have become integral parts of my journey on HIVE.

I'm so so sorry, poor Molly! 😢 Somehow it's been ages since I visited your page and then I found out while reading back... Rainbow bridges come to mind - how we sometimes look forward to the day...
We are so enriched, and fortunate with time given to us by our fur buddies. No emotions, we don't want that. No wonder this reflection of time on hive...
A tiger (or was it the boy) said once: “If good things lasted forever, would we appreciate how precious they are?”
I totally agree with that quote. Although when you're thinking about that not so distant past, one can't agree with it short term. lol.
She was becoming more and more sick over the last year or so. We were grinding up her food real fine and even hand feeding her. In the last months of life we had to blend her food into a liquid and feed it to her that way. She eventually stopped eating and then drinking.
We spent one last beautiful, heart wrenching day with her doing some of her favorite things. As the day grew longer, and the inevitable approached, our hearts were in ruins. I did my best trying to hold it all together. I don't know how we made it through, but we did. Miss that little girl so damn much.

That is one of my favorite photos of Pepper. Unfortunately he has since passed away. We miss his curious nature and loveable personality.
