You need to unlock the memo I sent you with your memo key. Being on a computer is the easiest way, I don’t know how to do it on our phones. When you are on the computer using hive keychain, go to your wallet on PeakD and find the four memos I sent you. There will be a lock at the end of them. Click the lock and it will ask you for your memo key if you have it. If you don’t have your memo key then it’s a moot point. If you have it, add it to keychain and it will unlock the messages. The way you are seeing it is because it’s encrypted so only you and I can read it. Even if I put in 2 letters there it will put that whole jumbled mess.
Alright cool. Well that was quite a few hours of "wtf". That's the only type of memo message I know how to receive. I don't have a computer dude, haven't had one since I don't know when. Closest thing is an iPad.

When you are on PeakD there is a chat feature that works just like chat apps. It's convenient! I don't have to use Discord or those other things often anymore, just shoot messages to people that way lol.
You use Ecency a lot though, right? I use it sometimes but waiting for them to enable phone rotation so I can type easier. Typing with one finger is tough on my phone!

For the memo thing, the memo key encrypts your message which is awesome and a totally under-utilized feature of the platform. Only the sender and specified receiver have the access to unlock the message. I have hopes of eventually designing something that uses that for communities (think a locked college class community, only those enrolled in it can access it!) but can't think too much about that right now amidst all the other shit going on.
