The shades of Magnolias are stunning at best, hushed at the right times and beautifully cast over the landscape. Who can refute its beauty? Tulips were involved on the peripherals of the path, framing the neighborhood in beauty.

Suddenly and without as much as a simple warning, the petals leave the bough and gracefully fall to the ground. One of the most powerfully romantic nature moments is the sight of those blossoms, even where they aren't perfect, like this year, themI. have loved every minute of it. A strong gust of wind can send down a flurry of these—randomly scattering them.

The cherry trees are of varying sizes because they were planted at different times. The bark is rough and gnarly, the blossoms soft and sweet. I love the way the sky looks soft and fuzzy behind the crisp details of the bark and blossoms. Everything is soft and beautiful right now. next week, perhaps not. The weather had been so unpredictable that it had ruined the entrance of the blossoms this year. Some froze, while others hadn't put out buds, so they were saved. So, the trees got off to an uncertain start this year. They seem to have turned out fine, it was I that was having a bit of trouble with it all.
The sun warms my face as I look up to the sky, to once again enjoy the blossoms raining down on me. This is only a start, a little while longer and the grass is covered with them. Alas, the blooms are going back from whence they came. To be clear, the above photo is a Magnolia tree. She is not raining blossoms, but, if you look at the ground, she has had a rough time of it. The Magnolia danced all night long. I could hear Mother Nature blowing, and blowing, making life uncertain for the little blooms.
It's a nostalgic time of the year, the connection of fleeting cherry blossoms and the events of your own life. The blooming of the cherry tree season is one of the first signs that spring is in the air. I want to thank @tattoodjay for hosting the challenge, #WedendayWalk, and making it a fun way to get out and meet your personal goals for fitness.
All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces, and start all over again. And again.
It’s my way. I walk out to the deep end of the page and dive right in.

as for what season do I love, I used to say all of them make the most of what ever nature gives us, but as I get older I am not enjoying winter so much these days to be honest

I think winter fun diminishes when we cannot enoy it in the same way, plus the cold seems colder. I will add that it doesn't help when we move more north as our bodies are saying warmer! warmer! I have to admit, I love winter, but, I haven't had a real one in years, most places we are sent are in a friendlier climate unless you count Europe!!! Unless it was south.
Enjoy the rest of your day! I will visit some of the other walks, it is always cool to do a thorough view of all of the seasons!

Wonderful! I discovered a magnolia tree in the garden here. Just one half started to bloom. Hope it gets a few more flowers before I leave.
Favourite season… yep spring! And it will always be my favourite. Although I love the others too hahaha 🤣

How cool with the magnolia tree! Is it the small, five-flowered variety or the large, waxy type of flower? Either one is a joyous discovery. The smaller one blooms pretty fast and lasts for a while. The big, waxy-flowered ones bloom slowly and last forever until suddenly, one day, they are gone!

It’s the larger waxy type of flowers. The tree is only small so not many flowers. But still… it’s the only one that flowers at the moment. Everything else is still bare. I can see it from the kitchen window. 🥰🌺

I try and enjoy each season for what it brings individually. For, if I choose to enjoy one less, I have the same amount of that season and less joy.
That being said, I LOVE spring for the rebirth of so many things. One of them being those magnolias that bloom right across the street and all the other early spring blooms.
The daffodils are all we have thus far but i expect an explosion as April draws long and ushers in a flowers May!
Love that i get to enjoy it a little early by seeing it where you are!
I love that about this platform!! Right now, I am enjoying the beginnings of Autumn in Australia! So cool, right? How can you not love each and every season? It would be impossible to cut short the joy of life, in that, you are absolutely right! I have to agree.

Still no daffodils here, but the tree in front of our house has taken to bloom. I took a photo of it the other day. I will have to share it at some point. It looked quite pretty. I think after this last day of could it is supposed to warm up again, so things should start to get back into gear after that.
It has been the weirdest of springs! Ours has been so disjointed, I am surprised that anything has bloomed. I hesitate to put anything into the ground. It got 41 degrees last night. That is not cold by any means, just cold for this time of year.
I look forward to seeing what kind of tree you have in the front yard!
Spring has made its debut there! Woo hoo! Break out the sunscreen! I say that jokingly, but, I can remember as a young teen, sunbathing when it was barely 66 degrees! Heatwave!!! LOL

Yeah, it has been kind of crazy. We had frost/freeze warnings last night. I had to turn the heat back on in our house the other day.

It actually looks like a weeping cherry tree. They are only ornamental, so they don't bear fruit. (I say only, but they are beautiful!) If you get a chance before the blooms fall off, a closer picture would be great!
They are on the smaller side and never get too tall. Very pretty though when in bloom! Thanks for taking the time to show her off!
I'm pretty sure this one is some kind of graft. If you get in really close you can see that there is a knot at the top of the trunk and then this tree. I could be wrong though. We had another one on the other side if the garage that died. The trunk of the tree had a distinct citrus smell to it.
That's interesting! Take a few flowers off and pour hot water on them to get a real scent. I am really goofing up on the tree identification! :)

Spring is the best time to enjoy the bright colour of nature. Summer is fun, but so green. The early buds of spring are what really get me excited. The cherry trees are brilliant!

We only have two seasons here, summer and rainy , so I would rather choose the favorite month. That's December as the temperature is colder!
Those petals on the ground remind me of my childhood. I used to collect such in summer to be used in Flores De Mayo
Oh, yes! I used to call it hot and hotter but, it sounds more right with rainy. So many here look for warmer weather, but, honestly like a balance of seasons. However, between hot and cold, I might choose hot! LOL

I love all the seasons. The changes in colors, the visual effects of each, the scent of each. And my favorite walk is under a blossoming tree whose blossoms have blanketed the ground. I look down as I walk and feast my eyes, nourished.

What amazing photos! When I was growing up in Ohio our neighbor (who was really our surrogate grandmother) had a magnolia tree. I still remember seeing it blooming from my window as a boy.

I never feel the Spring coming by until I see Magnolias blooming. It's incredible how such a tiny tree/bush that doesn't makes itself remarkable the rest of the year, has so much power to change the aspect of a street, a yard or just the way you look in front of you :)
Today I treated my trees with copper sulfate so that the trees would not suffer from fungal diseases. I looked at the condition of the buds on the trees. Pears and apple trees have many flower buds, but cherries need to be removed because they are sick and I again do not see fruit buds on them.
In May I will show my flowering trees.
