Greetings Pre-millennials,
I am on hive since it started, I was even there on steem before Justin...
But, believe me or not, I did not find this community before today, I mean, I never took the time to read it's description, as I already read some posts from people in the community.
For one main reason: I was writing exclusively in French.
But as I decided to train my English, I browsed the available communities, and fell on Silver Bloggers, which sounds really appealing to me. I hope I will make some friends here...
People of my age, with the same kind of life or at least education, writing on hive about trivial things :-) ... I think I could feel at home here.
If you make a tiny place for me to be one of yours, I will mainly speak about my way of living, here in Belgium. Explaining my day to day routines or how I raise my kids without seeing them often... Probably grunt about bad things happening to me, and share the joy of little successes ...
Also, I could maybe share some news about my project, but not before I get an approval.
I will write without any translation tool, you're more than welcomed to comment with advises or corrections if you see I make mistakes.

So, first thing first, let me introduce myself to the community.

You already guessed, I am Belgian, and pre-millennial too, I was born in 1973! Yeah, I am 50 years old now, and I feel it in my body, lol.
I Lost my job, 10 years ago, due to financial crisis, unable to find a new one up to now, so I struggle to reach financial independence (account name is in French), but I am not yet ready to give up about it.
I love social contacts, and I love Cryptos, thus, I adore HIVE as it joins both.
Helping others is something I love to do, and I like to think I am open-minded.
Those were my first steps in this community.

I have just come back from holiday, so just trying to play catch up.
If you have been on Hive since the beginning then you are much more a longtime than I am. I am only here since September of 2021.
I see it says you joined in 2022, so I presume this is an alt account?
It is indeed, my main is in French and is @itharagaian
I would like to keep them separate as a blog in French and the other one in english.

Ah okay, it can be hard on hive if you don't write in English or Spanish or maybe German, so a good idea to keep separate accounts, I have an alt but it is for posting on LeoFinance.
