RE: Old Man Noises

in Silver Bloggers3 years ago (edited)

I AM actually old enough to be going silver and I'm ok with that. So many never get the chance. Sure things are different and I recognize things in myself that remind me of "old peoples".... .it just manages to make me laugh. I'm much more into comfort than style, especially at home, so if you drop in by surprise, no telling how you'll see me dressed, but you can bet it will be comfortable ! Who cares ???

I've been right proud of myself that as things change, mostly physically, I have seemed to be able to adapt the way I do things to fit where I am right now.

I have lived alone so long, it is really no telling what all I do, sounds I make, things I say out loud.... yep.... I'm fitting right in with my times ! 😂

Love your photos with all the beautiful fall colors.

Thanks for stopping by! Ya most things are about comfort and utility when we are in our own house that's for sure. I've tried to shift to wearing jeans around the house instead of sweat pants or pajamas though. I was noticing if I was in those I would tend to end up eating more or unhealthy and then when I went to put on my jeans they would be really tight hahaha. Now I wear the jeans and it is a mental reminder to not eat that extra yogurt etc.

Sorry to hear you're living alone, I don't look forward to those days but I'm hopeful it wasn't something awful for you. Indeed when we are alone for a day or two who knows what's going to happen! Lol

The New England fall colors are some of my favorite pictures as well! Enjoying them while we are still in the area.

ha ha ... I'd definitely need new jeans now. Makes sense to use them to help keep you conscious about your eating habits.

I've been on my own for 25 years now, well, on the 15th of April of this year. Although in my older age, it's not that I think it is the ultimate situation really, but I am used to it now and don't consider it a bad thing mostly. It does have it's perks... and it's inconveniences for sure.
