Life is trying to drive me insane (or rather the VA and the "plandemic" are) I HAD an "In Person" appointment tomorrow with my VA PCP, I even sent a secure message today to verify it. Reply came back "yes, you have an IN PERSON appointment and yes (answering my question) You will have labs, to include bloodwork and urine sample"
All the above was secure msg.
Then while ago, my bimbo dr called to say: "They are doing vaccinations here tomorrow, the waiting area will be crowded with people, you don't want to be in all that exposure, and the lab will be too busy to get your blood and urine tomorrow, so you can come in next week and do the labs, tomorrow I can either do a phone or video with you"
I said "first off, you must know by now I cannot ABIDE talking on the phone, and you should also know I am not the least bit concerned about exposure" So now I get to talk to my computer screen, tell her about the suspect mini stroke I had 14 days ago, and THEN she will order tests done, with NEVER LAYING A HAND ON ME.
Dr's are SUPPOSED to touch us aren't they? A means of comfort, to share compassion?
I hate this world.

Is the VA rocking the prison transport vans over there yet? We've had them here only for heavily disabled, as like a medical transport vehicle.
Now they are using them for everything and everyone in the VA. Must sit in the back, behind the bars and windows. (social distancing)
I have been in prison transport vehicles, and have been in VA transport vehicles. They are the same exact thing.
They do serve a good purpose for people in wheelchairs, however using them for all veterans who need rides is going to take away from the people who really need the intended use of the vehicles.
I'm glad you are standing your ground so to speak.. and letting the VA workers know they are complicating things for you.
This infectious logic they have is crazy in my opinion. The entire thing is crazy when I haven't been jabbed in about 6 years and haven't been sick in that time frame.. I use myself as an example, and use myself for evidence... Where's my evidence that this is bullshit? Me, the dude who smokes a pack a day and never takes shots or pills but feels healthier than ever.
In fact with every passing year I feel like I get healthier. Like my body is recovering slowly from an onslaught of poison jabs over a lifetime.
Ok that's it for my mini rant. I hope things work out with your appointment in a way that doesn't upset you more.
I'm going to have to take a xanax before I see her on the computer, so I can hope to remain civil, but it just doesn't seem to be in the cards.
In the past month, I've asked the VA for help with a skin problem. They put in a referral.
I contacted a dermatology clinic, they saw me the next day, did a MOHS (scrape) of the worst spot on my back (Biopsy came back negative/non malignant) the others that they said WOULD have developed into something more serious, they froze.
THEN a week later when I reported this and the images of AFTER surgery, the VA contacted me and I have an appointment with VA Derm, in FEBRUARY
Then there was the suspected TIA they know nothing about yet.
How are they going to look at my back over the computer?
You know what? THIS PCP hasn't SEEN me in person in over a year. Thanks VA
I've dealt with workman's comp. I've heard tales of the VA. Why the **** do people keep demanding a state monopoly in medicine?

Pretty sure that's a hivemind thing. Sadly there has been zero updates to the notification logic since created about 2 years ago
Personally I don't mind this. Notifications are not a "core" feature and having them in Hivemind is convenient, but not required.
In my opinion a new notification system is required and can be built in top of HAF
A lot of users requested this in the past, but should be solved at Hivemind level
