For me, its more about what can be done with crypto and the networks of good folks that I build around my blogging here. At the moment, I am focused on the arena because I am looking for alternatives to what we have now that isn't doing us much good.
Any system that allows currency investment opens itself to speculation and to the the swings and roundabouts of political and economic will. Whatever happens in the big wide world that affects the dollar, euro or whatever folks are using will fluctuate wildly as events unfold.
Building community, developing personal skills and sharing with others is what will get us through in the long run, not strings of numbers or code.
I very much enjoy the sense of community here, and the people I have met along the way have been interesting and awesome... which is also why I definitely plan to continue participating and plugging along!
And yes, people definitely have more value than code, in the long run!
