In all honesty though... I thought I was a vaguely progressive South African. I'm pretty stunned how many of us are on here and that I had absolutely no idea this was even happening :)

My son introduced me in 2017, it was Steemit then but when the Hive fork happened, most of us left Steemit altogether. I've been hooked ever since 👌

Why did the fork happen? I'm understanding that Hive was created from the fork? Or was it PeakD and Ecency that was created by the fork?
I have little idea about blockchain stuff and it's very interesting stuff for a rebel, free spirit, activist, misfit (seems I'm not alone after all) and tech addict (liddle bit).
