This year we had everything well arranged.
Raja festival is a special festival to celebrate femininity and every year, we celebrate it in our society by having an event, in which, stalls are put by our residents presenting some very delicious home cooked foods and drinks. It provides opportunity to our young entrepreneurs (our kids) to put their stalls, and feel the business taste. At the same time, it provides us opportunity to enjoy the evening with some nice food, and meet each other. This year, our ladies took initiatives to prepare the event in an organized way. The swings in our society was decorated nicely, setting up a charming ambience for the girls / ladies to enjoy and capture some beautiful memories. And the finishing touch was done with some nice DJ music, setting up the floor for dance and our ladies are Pro in that segment, showing up some niche performance. So let me present you the photos and videos for you to feel the excitements.
Quite a memorable event to celebrate femininity, isn't it ? Here is the memory from last year event, some add up, some miss, Life goes on, but the fact remains same : Men cannot be elegant without the touch of femininity.

Happy Raja Sir.
The feminine character of Mother Earth is celebrated and demonstrated in the form of RAJA festivals in Odisha. The festivals in India are always in semblance with Nature and have distinct regional themes. RAJA is one among them.
And even more so such a festival is incomplete without the presence of the Ladies of Earth, after all, they are the embodiment of Mother Earth. Ladies achieve congruence and completeness of womanhood after becoming mothers.
I thoroughly enjoyed the video and the rich photographic content. I can sense happiness and charm in the body language of the commune, that's how the participants grace this occasion. May you have many more opportunities to explore collective happiness through never-ending festivals.
Thank you.
Have a great day.
Jai Jagannath.
🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much, Jai Jagannath.
It sure looks like a very successful event, the Chicken in Honey would have been my choice, it looks so good, and I'm sure that must have been a sell-out dish!
I see not only the ladies know about those dance moves ;)
We manage to move a little :) Same choice here - Chicken in Honey.
I have been away on holiday and have been missing your colourful posts!
I love the Raja festival although I don't think it is everywhere in India. Women should be celebrated and I love how the young ones get to become entrepreneurs for the night!
Cool moves and the sari's are so colourful, your wife's top was so colourful too.
Spot on :)
It's very specific to my place, Odisha.
Celebrating femininity is really wonderful. Women are oppressed in different countries, so seeing them celebrated here is a good example to show others. Having wonderful food and company makes it even better.
Lovely picture, more so, your video editing is top notch, you made remember how it sounds when I watch indie movies. Thanks for taking me back in time.
Just excellent festival, showing feminity importance. In my schooldays, in 80's and 90's we lived in quarters.and we had lots of friends from all over India . It was a great celebration, especially whenit came to their individual festival . This photos reminded me of those days. An appeeciable fact indeed.
I never heard about this type of festival...all pictures are amazing 👍
Its very specific to my state, Odisha.
Wow dear sir, this is such a fun and meaningful celebration. It's great to see a community coming together to honor femininity. The stalls and music must have made it so lively. Glad you had everything you arranged !LADY

THanks for sharing your festival celebration with the community.
This is amazing! This festival is seemed to be celebrated with great joy, cheerfulness and happiness. All the members are looking really very pretty in the attire which they our presentes by. I really loved the way you celebrated your traditional festivals as that is really very rare nowadays, everyone is very busy in their own life and don't have much time for their families. But i really loved the way you and your whole family all together celebrate such festivals. I hope it might be fun!
