A month ago I also saw a similar fight. The hawk attacked the gray crow. He made 3 attacks, but the crow managed to escape.
Why did he attack the crow? They are almost the same size.

Here it is the other way round, the crow was attacking the hawk. I have seen jackdaws attacking an eagle. Even smaller birds gathered to protect their territory from predators.
