Jako většinu dravců, tak i poštolku nejčastěji vidím, jak letí někde nad polem nebo jiným otevřeným prostorem. Tahle seděla na stromě a nejspíš koukala po myších. Co jiného by mohla v lednu dělat. Sehnat tou dobou myš bude asi docela fuška.
Like most predators, I see the kestrel most often flying somewhere over a field or other open space. This one was sitting on a tree, probably looking for mice. What else could she do in January? Getting a mouse at the time will probably be quite a chore.
