Yes, saving is also a nice habit, we have also a very expensive electric kwh, even we don't need heating we have to pay around $100 a month.

$100 USD per month for electricity (without heating) is indeed a lot of money. Many years ago (around 2006) we used 1500 Watts heaters (at least once, but sometimes two or three, when the outside temperature was very cold), and we paid around $122 USD per month. Without heating, we usually paid less than $25 USD per month. So the heating added a lot of difference, using most of the monthly electricity consumption.
We all enjoy and like living in this house.
