here is my entry
there is a wonderful colony of painted storks in keoladeo
national park in rajasthan, india. they are a sight to behold with the foppish splashes of color, long legs and beak. but their real elegance is first visible when they take flight
their huge size makes them seem more comical than graceful nesting on thin branches in the trees.
on land they seem at home, more stately adorned in pink and relaxed, not having to balance all the time.
but it's really something to see them take to the sky
This is another bird I see for the first time. Here, we have only white and rarely black storks.
Nice captures! First time (and only!) I saw them in the wild was in Sri Lanka, a couple years ago!
Very nice pictures @eolianpariah
If this is an entry for the Show Me A Photo Contest run by @nelinoeva , this would be nice to precise it in your post 😉
this would mean also adding a link to the contest post, so that other people can be informed there is a contest, and if they also want to participate they can easily go to it...😊
oh i thought it was clear when i posted my entry in the contest link. anyway i have updated my entry to include the contest link and to precisely state it is an entry to the show me a photo contest 8
Nicely done @eolianpariah 👍 thank you 😊
