Hello Feathered Friends Lovers!
What a week we had with you submitting your creative photo edits. You turned the Feathered Friends community into a Feathered Friends Art Gallery and I enjoyed very much viewing your posts. But you have to wait a bit to see who the winners are.
Now I am pleased to open a new round and to announce a new theme. Let's see some big birds. What is the biggest bird you have seen and managed to photograph? Is it an ostrich or an eagle, pelican or peacock? Any bird you considered the biggest.
BIG BIRD
I could say that the ostrich is the bigest I've seen, but alas no photo to show. What I will give as an example is the pelican, the stork and of course the swan.
The pelican and the stork I captured in the zoo. It was a good starting point of practicing bird photography for me.
Did you notice the colou of the pelican? It is pinkish and this is rose pelican.
Hubby saw flocks of pelicans flying above our block. They were too high to determine their type.
The stork was building nest which was suprising to me as it was very low to the ground.
And the usual swan photo.

If you create quality post with more images and interesting story about them, you could be nominated for OCD upvote. Making extra effort can give you bigger upvotes.

Oh wow! Those pelicans and swans look totally different to the kind here in Australia. Amazing how different parts of the globe can have the same birds but they're totally different

It is really amazing how different same birds can be. I am lucky to live on tne migratory route. Awaiting for the birds to come back from south. When I see the storks coming, the winter is over.

Your collection of images is admirable, I have never seen a pelican in person, in the city where I live is not very common, I was surprised that the heron made her nest so exposed. I'm going to see what I can get to accompany you this week

Rose pelicans are the symbol of the zoo in my town and they are quite interesting to watch when they are fed.
