How well hid the owl is and blending with the colour of the bark, hard to be spotted.
Oh, I can imagine how you felt seeing the owl. I am still missing to photograph an owl, although I have heard some at night.

We hear them at night and early morning quite often here as well. I have yet to spot one of those close to home yet though. That will be even better one day!
