After I do not know how many weeks (maybe more than one month), we are together again. Mostly I hold the leash of my bird, because she still fear from my brother. She often scream at him. She need time to get used to him. And to other people too. Other than me, she rarely see other people.
Nowadays I rarely smile, but today I smiled multiple times, and we successfully captured it on photos.
Yes. There is bird poop on my pullover. This can happen, if you sleep with your bird.
My brother chopped some wood in the afternoon. Currently we have enough wood to heat the room in the most of the night.
This is probably good for a start. We will get more wood tomorrow. Fortunately/luckily the temperature is not that cold (around 6 ˚C) tonight.
The heater makes the room pleasantly warm. I still have three pullovers and a hat on my head.
This is where the fire start to get stronger.
Now it is nicely visible. And we feel the heat too.
Of course mostly we close the door of the heater. Mostly we open it, when we put wood into it. I successfully took these few photos about the fire, when/after my brother put wood into the heater.

What kind of bird is she and where did you get her from?

She is a Harris's hawk. I bought her from a breeder on 2021.08.30.
The heating is mostly very expensive. This year is a little bit easier, because now I live together with my brother again, and we share the spendings between us. This is very hard alone. Especially if someone have a low, under the local minimum wage income, like me.
Hectic! Wow...
I guess we're luckier here as our winters are milder. People on the streets still die of exposure though.
You'd think "civilisation" would have found a solution for this by now. :(

By being together again, I mean that we live in the same house again. With the exception of a few occasions with short times, he lived in another house in the previous few years. Hopefully we will be able to live together for a longer time this time.

It is indeed very good. It makes me very happy. We try to keep warm. The temperature outside is slowly going down. According to the weather forecast, some of the next mornings will be -1 °C, so there will be frost.
