I write this post near midnight. I took this photo about my bird a few minutes ago (at 23:18 CET). She is visibly tired. Soon we will go to sleep. Shortly after I finish this post.
Looks like we keep heating with wood. The gift wood will be enough to heat our room for tonight (maybe even for tomorrow), and the owner of the house said that he will gift more wood to us in the next week.
We carried the two bags of fire wood from the other house of the owner on a bicycle in the evening. The outside temperature was 2 °C. There was a little snowfall. Currently the temperature is 1 °C. Maybe the snow is still falling. Probably this is the first snowfall in the winter of 2022. I have not took a photo about it. If the morning will be white, then I will certainly took a few photos about it.
Either way, according to the weather forecast, the next few nights will be freezing, around -5 °C and -6 °C, and even the daylight temperatures will be cold, around 0 °C and 7 °C. So the almost continuous heating will be necessary.
If everything will be good, then we will have enough wood to keep the room warm.

Ooh that's great that you received wood ! The Forecast is more or less the same by us, freezing yesterday and the next nights, and then around 5 to 8 °C but pretty much rain =D
Probably we will also have some rain in the next few days. We will see.
