Saturday the 3rd was the Christmas concert of the symphony, where my daughters study music. Many already know that my eldest daughter Kathe has been studying violin since she was 5 years old, now my youngest daughter started in September of this year and she was very excited to have a concert just like her sister.

Practicing since September, every day in the afternoon, each teacher was preparing his group, despite the weather, the conditions of the nucleus, the regular school classes of each child. Despite the setbacks and inconveniences, they were always there, day by day teaching the children with dedication. And my little daughter is in initiation and she only saw classes on Thursdays and Fridays.

In the month of November, as the date of the concert approached, the classes were more intensive, increasing the last week 2 more hours each day and also practicing on Saturdays. That last week my daughter had exams, presentations at the high school, and in addition to her intensive violin practice, she has learned that everything in life requires effort and with dedication everything turns out well.
En el mes de noviembre, acercándose la fecha del concierto, las clases fueron más intensivas, aumentando la última semana 2 horas más cada día y practicando además los sábados. Esa última semana mi hija tuvo exámenes, exposiciones en el liceo, y además sus practicas intensivas de violín, ha aprendido que todo en la vida requiere esfuerzo y con dedicación todo sale bien.
DAY OF THE CONCERT

Finally the day of the concert arrived, my youngest daughter had her concert at 11 am and she had to be at the venue at 10 am, while my eldest daughter's concert was at 4 but they had to be there at 1, so what was a whole day of musical marathon since my daughter had to come with us to Cami's concert and at the end of that concert, she stayed in rehearsal with her classmates, then gave her concert until she finally finished everything at 6:40 p.m.
Finalmente llegó el día del concierto, mi hija pequeña tenía su concierto a las 11 am y debía estar en el lugar a las 10 am, mientras que el concierto de mi hija mayor era a las 4 pero debían estar allí a la 1, por lo que fue todo un día de maratón musical ya que mi hija se tuvo que venir con nosotros al concierto de Cami y al terminar ese concierto, se quedó ella en el ensayo con sus compañeros, luego dar su concierto hasta que finalmente terminó todo a las 6:40 pm.
While my little daughter was inside for the last rehearsal before the concert, we took advantage of taking photos in the mall, the Christmas decorations are everywhere and the photos are beautiful. A cousin who had not seen her for 4 years also came to that concert, and it was an honor to have her there with us that day.
Mientras mi hija pequeña estaba adentro en el último ensayo antes del concierto, aprovechamos de tomarnos fotos en el centro comercial, ya la decoración navideña está por todos lados y las fotos son hermosas. A ese concierto vino también una prima que tenía 4 años sin ver, y que fue un honor tener allí con nosotros ese día.

It was time for the concert, on that occasion it was more about the singing of both the initiation children and the choirs that are currently being formed in the center of my city. The group Alma LLanera also played, who delighted us with Christmas music, bonuses and bagpipes. Really a very emotional and lively concert with that music that we have heard at Christmas since we were children.
Llegó la hora del concierto, en esa oportunidad fue más de canto tanto de los niños de iniciación como de las corales que actualmente se están formando en el núcleo de mi ciudad. También tocó la agrupación Alma LLanera, quienes nos deleitaron con música navideña, aguinaldos y gaitas. Realmente un concierto muy emotivo y animado con esa música que desde niños hemos escuchado en las navidades.
The children sang 3 songs, among them: Fuego al Cañon, My donkey Sabanero, A happy new year for you. In addition, 2 choirs sang, each one approximately 3 songs and the group Alma LLanera played, approximately 5 songs, an excellent presentation by everyone.
Los niños cantaron 3 canciones, entre ellas: Fuego al Cañon, Mi burrito Sabanero, Un feliz año pa´ti. Además cantaron 2 corales, cada una aproximadamente 3 canciones y tocó la agrupación Alma LLanera, aproximadamente 5 canciones, excelente presentación de todos.

When leaving Cami's concert, it was 1:30, we were hungry, but people were already queuing up to enter the 4 o'clock concert. Wow, waiting so long standing up to enter the other concert, I couldn't stand that my mother, plus she, my cousin and Cami were hungry, so I wanted to spend a quiet day without stress and we went to eat... I think we relaxed a lot, since not seeing my cousin for so long was the reason for a lunch 3 hours, we talked a lot, he told us his anecdote outside the country, and we enjoyed a pleasant atmosphere where we were, when we realized the time, it was already 3:30 pm and we went to queue to enter the concert.
Al salir del concierto de Cami, era la 1:30, teníamos hambre, pero ya la gente estaba haciendo la cola para entrar al concierto de las 4. Wao, esperar tanto tiempo de pie para entrar al otro concierto, eso no lo aguantaría mi madre, además ella, mi prima y Cami tenían hambre, así que quise pasar un día tranquilo sin estress y fuimos a comer... Creo que nos relajamos mucho, ya que tanto tiempo sin ver a mi prima fue motivo de un almuerzo de 3 horas, hablamos mucho, nos contó sus anécdota fuera del país, y disfrutamos de un ambiente agradable allí donde estábamos, cuando nos dimos cuenta de la hora, ya eran las 3:30 pm y fuimos a hacer la cola para entrar al concierto...
KATHE'S CONCERT.
EL CONCIERTO DE KATHE.
This has been the concert that I have had to see the furthest away, I got distracted at lunch talking with my mother and my cousin, who when I went to stand in line was super long, so we got the last places. It was difficult to focus on Kathe, despite recording several of the pieces they played, I wanted to present you with closer shots but then I preferred to enjoy the concert to the fullest, it's beautiful to be there enjoying each piece fully assembled with all the members of the orchestra, listening all the instruments together and coordinated is great.
Este ha sido el concierto que más lejos me ha tocado ver ya que me distraje en el almuerzo hablando con mi mamá y mi prima, que cuando fui hacer la cola estaba super larga, así que nos tocó los últimos puestos. Fue difícil enfocar a Kathe, a pesar de grabar varias de las piezas que tocaron, quería presentarles tomas más de cerca pero luego preferí disfrutar el concierto al máximo, es hermoso estar allí disfrutando cada pieza totalmente ensamblada con todos los integrantes de la orquesta, escuchar todos los instrumentos juntos y coordinados es grandioso.
In addition, taking into consideration that we went 2 years without a Christmas closing concert due to the pandemic, I think that is why the two concerts were so emotional and special. Two totally different concerts but each one beautiful and full of beautiful energy.
Además tomando en consideración que estuvimos 2 años sin concierto de cierre de navidad debido a la pandemia, creo que por eso os dos conciertos fueron tan emotivos y especiales. Dos conciertos totalmente diferentes pero cada uno hermoso y lleno de mucha energía linda.
