Right now, I don't even know what to write. I have mixed feelings, perhaps because Mom's illness has left us all with a lot of disappointments, but I also believe it has left us with a lot of learning. Today, I don't have bad news. On the contrary, I believe Mom is making progress in her fight to feel better and get out of that bed soon, where she's been for over a year.

• En estos momentos no se ni que escribir, tengo sentimientos encontrados, tal vez porque la enfermedad de mamá nos ha dejado a todos muchos sin sabores, pero creo que también mucho aprendizaje y hoy no vengo con malas noticias, al contrario, creo que mamá está avanzando en la lucha por sentirse mejor y levantarse pronto de esa cama en la cual ha permanecido por más de un año.

All of her children long to see her active as she has always been. Sometimes I wonder what all the things are going through her head when she sees that at this moment she cannot take care of herself. Maybe she feels frustrated, or maybe sad, scared, tired 😔

• Todos sus hijos anhelamos verla activa como siempre lo ha sido, a veces me pregunto que tantas cosas pasarán por su cabeza al ver que en este momento no se puede valer por ella misma, tal vez sentirá frustración, o quizás tristeza, miedo, cansancio 😔

But you know what? Despite everything she's been through, she doesn't give up; she's still fighting! She's striving, because she loves life, and if God has given her one more chance to stay on this earth, she longs to live out her remaining time in the best way possible.

• ¿Pero saben qué? A pesar de todo lo que ha tenido que pasar, ella no se rinde, ¡allí está luchando! esforzándose, porque ella ama la vida y si Dios le ha dado una oportunidad más para seguir en esta tierra, ella anhela vivir el tiempo que le queda de la mejor manera posible.

I see her struggle and I get so emotional I cry 😌 I really wish I had a supernatural power so she wouldn't have to struggle so much, but I also know that everything she's been through makes her stronger. Now my mother is doing more of her part and she's more convinced that she'll soon achieve her goal.

• La veo luchar y me emociono al punto de llorar 😌 realmente quisiera tener un poder sobrenatural para que ella no tenga que luchar tanto, pero también sé que todo lo que ha vivido la hace más fuerte, ahora mi madre está poniendo más de su parte y ella está más convencida que pronto logrará el objetivo.

I've seen progress. She's trying, she's succeeding, and all her children's wish is to see her again arranging her beloved flowers, to be able to go for walks and sunbathe, without that wheelchair.

• He visto avances, ella lo está intentando, ella lo está logrando y el deseo de todos sus hijos es verla nuevamente arreglando sus queridas flores, que pueda pasear ir a tomar el sol, sin esa silla de ruedas.

My mother is a worthy example of someone who doesn't throw in the towel, she's a fighter! 💪❤️
