Hola amigos, bienvenidos a mi mundo
Espero que todos estén bien. Ayer no tuve clases, porque era el día de La Asunción y lo dan libre y como estudio allá, no tuve escuela, ni clases de violín, ni flauta. Menos mal porque aproveché y escribí este post, y hoy también me quedé porque ahora tengo tos 🥺
Hoy es mi segundo post en #Hive, y como es Navidad quería enseñarles unas fotos de las cosas que hacemos en Navidad en mi casa, y mi mamá @rlathulerie me dijo que lo podía hacer aquí porque es una comunidad de familia y que tenían como un concurso y podía hablar de eso, de nuestras tradiciones familiares.
Yo escogí este tema porque en la escuela, el miércoles de la semana que pasó, nos mandaron una tarea para la casa, que era escribir las tradiciones navideñas de mi familia, y me acordé que tenemos muchas fotos, entonces por eso quería enseñarles lo que hacemos en Navidad y qué es lo que más me gusta.
¿Qué hacemos en Navidad?
☃️ Decorar
Esto es lo que más me gusta, porque decoramos el arbolito, las ventanas y la sala.
Todos los años, mi hermano y yo, nos turnamos para poner la estrella y este año me tocó a mí, me tuvieron que poner una silla porque nuestro arbolito es gigante.
Para decorar mi mamá y yo hicimos adornos para el arbolito, unas guirnaldas de estrellas de fieltro y unas de partituras, pero aún nos falta.
☃️ Vemos películas de navidad
En cable hay un canal donde pasan películas de navidad las 24 horas y ese lo ponemos todo el día. A mi papá no le gusta mucho, pero igual lo ponemos 🙈
Las películas que más me gustan son: el Grinch, la vieja y la nueva, Navidad en Evergreen y Navidad en Pemberley Manor, ah, y hay una que quiero ver que ya vi una parte, pero no la terminé, que se llama, Nunca beses a un hombre con un suéter de navidad.
☃️ Preparar la cena
Esta también es mi parte favorita porque la comida de Navidad me encanta. Todos los años mi hermano, mi papá y yo, limpiamos las hojas de las hallacas. Mi papá las corta, yo les paso el paño húmedo y Matías las seca.
Mi hermano y yo también le pasamos a mi mamá los ingredientes, pero el año pasado, como ya estamos grandes, ayudamos a hacerlas. Hicimos unas con carita feliz. Todos los años hacemos para el 24, 25, 31 de diciembre y para el primero de enero, que nadie quiere cocinar 🙈.
Este año, no vamos a hacer pernil, mi hermano y yo, encontramos una receta que se llama Pollo Fiesta, y eso lo vamos a hacer en vez del pernil. Se ve rico.
☃️ Salimos a tomar fotos en los centros comerciales
Todos los años aquí ponen decoraciones muy bellas, y nos gusta ir a tomarnos fotos familiares.
Mi favorito es La Vela, es el que ponen más bonito, además ponen música de navidad y hace frío.
Este año sólo hemos ido a La Vela, y la plaza de La Asunción que ya la decoraron, pero todavía no es diciembre. Tenemos mucho tiempo.
☃️ Vamos a la casa de los abuelos
El 24 y el 31 siempre vamos a casa de mis abuelos por parte de mi papá, después de la cena de Navidad en nuestra casa.
Ahí me divertía mucho, porque estaban mis primas, pero ellas se fueron a Argentina y ya van dos navidades que no están, pero igual vamos, porque los abuelos ahora nos necesitan más. Lo bueno es que hay un hotel cerca y vemos los fuegos artificiales.

I hope everyone is well. Yesterday I had no classes, because it was the day of La Asuncion and they give it off and since I study there, I had no school, no violin lessons, no flute. Good thing because I took advantage and wrote this post, and today I also stayed because now I have a cough 🥺.
Today is my second post on #Hive, and since it's Christmas I wanted to show you some pictures of the things we do at Christmas in my house, and my mom @rlathulerie told me I could do it here because it's a family community and they had like a contest and I could talk about that, about our family traditions.
I chose this topic because at school, on Wednesday of last week, they sent us an assignment for homework, which was to write down my family's Christmas traditions, and I remembered that we have a lot of pictures, so I wanted to show them what we do at Christmas and what I like the most.
What do we do for Christmas?
☃️ Decorate
This is what I like the most, because we decorate the tree, the windows and the living room.
Every year, my brother and I take turns putting up the star and this year it was my turn, they had to put up a chair because our tree is so big.
To decorate, my mom and I made some ornaments for the tree, some felt star garlands and some sheet music garlands, but we still have some work to do.
☃️ Watching Christmas movies
There is a channel on cable that shows Christmas movies 24 hours a day and we watch it all day long. My dad doesn't like it very much, but we still watch it 🙈
The movies I like the most are Grinch, the old one and the new one, Christmas at Evergreen and Christmas at Pemberley Manor, oh, and there's one I want to see that I already saw part of, but I didn't finish it, called, Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater.
☃️ Preparing dinner
This is also my favorite part because I love Christmas food. Every year my brother, my dad and I, clean the leaves for the hallacas. My dad cuts them, I wipe them with a damp cloth and Matías dries them.
My brother and I also pass the ingredients to my mom, but last year, since we are grown up now, we helped make them. We made some with a smiley face. Every year we make them for December 24, 25, 31 and January 1, which nobody wants to cook 🙈.
This year, we are not going to make pernil, my brother and I, we found a recipe called Pollo Fiesta, and we are going to make that instead of pernil. It looks tasty.
☃️ We go out to take pictures at the malls.
Every year they put up beautiful decorations here, and we like to go out and take family pictures.
My favorite is La Vela, it's the one they put up the prettiest, plus they play Christmas music and it's cold.
This year we have only been to La Vela, and the Plaza de La Asuncion which is already decorated, but it's not December yet. We have plenty of time.
☃️ We go to our grandparents' house.
On the 24th and 31st we always go to my grandparents' house on my dad's side, after Christmas dinner at our house.
I used to have a lot of fun there, because my cousins were there, but they went to Argentina and have been gone for two Christmases now, but we still go, because the grandparents need us more now. The good thing is that there is a hotel nearby and we can see the fireworks.

Ayer también estuvimos en el centro comercial tomándonos fotos, los ponen muy bonitos.
Las hallacas es de las comidas más ricas en navidad. Espero que ese pollo fiesta les quede de maravilla.
Por cierto, aún a mi edad, mi trabajo con las hallacas son lavar, cortar y secar las hojas.
Espero pasen una linda navidad, ya falta poco para diciembre.
