Experiences on our Saturday recreational day (Part 2)
Hola mi gente linda de Hive, por aquí me encuentro redactando la segunda parte de este día tan especial. En el primer post le mencioné que antes de llegar al parque hicimos unas paradas para comprar unos medicamentos y un protector solar para mi hija.
Hello my beautiful people of Hive, here I am writing the second part of this special day. In the first post I mentioned that before arriving at the park we made a few stops to buy some medicine and sunscreen for my daughter.
Allí pasaron tres cosas interesantes: la primera fue que mi hija no consiguió en la estantería el protector que buscaba, ya en una farmacia que habíamos visitado anteriormente se lo estaban vendiendo en 17$ presupuesto que no se ajustaba a su bolsillo, por lo cual ella pensó que se iría sin su producto. Pero yo le recomendé que le preguntara a la cajera para ver si ella le podía confirmar si lo tenían. La sorpresa fue que ella recordó que habían 2 en el depósito. Ella misma se levantó y bingo lo consiguió y el precio nos hizo más feliz aún, eran 11$, mi hija se ahorró 6$, una pelusa 🤭🤭🤭🤭😂
Three interesting things happened there: the first one was that my daughter could not find the sunscreen she was looking for on the shelf, and in a pharmacy we had visited previously they were selling it for $17, which was not in her pocket, so she thought she would leave without her product. But I recommended that she ask the cashier to see if she could confirm if they had it. The surprise was that she remembered there were 2 in the stockroom. She got up herself and bingo she got it and the price made us even happier, it was $11, my daughter saved $6, a fluff 🤭🤭🤭🤭😂
Por otro lado, algo desagradable fue que al momento de cancelar el Banco registró el débito del dinero, pero para efecto de Farmatodo no recibieron el pago, la cara de tragedia de mi hija era gigantesca. La supervisora recomendó esperar a que el banco hiciera el reverso, pero eso sucedería en la semana, no ese mismo día. Me tocó resolver con un dinero que apenas había cobrado en Hive para costear mis pastillas y pagar una deuda pendiente, allí resolvimos ese asunto.
On the other hand, something unpleasant was that at the time of canceling the Bank recorded the debit of the money, but for Farmatodo effect they did not receive the payment, my daughter's face of tragedy was gigantic. The supervisor recommended waiting for the bank to make the reversal, but that would happen during the week, not that same day. I had to settle with money that I had just collected at Hive to pay for my pills and pay an outstanding debt, we resolved that matter there.
Lo bueno fue que mientras buscábamos me topé con un chicharrón picante, tenía varios meses queriendo comer. Pensé en comprarlo y darme ese gusto, me di yo misma palabras animadoras: ¡Dios proveerá!. No me van a creer, le pedí permiso a la chica que nos atendió para abrirlo y poder comer unos trozos, mi boca estaba agua. Permiso concedido, antojo matado como decimos los Venezolanos😉🤭.
The good thing was that while we were searching I came across a spicy chicharrón, I had been wanting to eat it for several months. I thought about buying it and treating myself, I gave myself the encouraging words: "God will provide! You won't believe me, I asked permission to the girl who served us to open it and eat a few pieces, my mouth was watering. Permission granted, antojo matado as we Venezuelans say 😉🤭.
Camino al parque el chicharrón crujía en nuestras bocas, eso se hace adictivo, cosa que a mí no me molesta en estos casos. Llegando al parque guardé la mitad y decía esto es para mí, a los chicos les voy a ofrecer Pepito, así lo hice. Cuando ellos se fueron a pasear saque mi chicharrón para la foto y para comer otro poquito y darle a mi esposo. La verdad no quería que se acabará. El chicharrón aún así llegó un poquito a casa. Ayer viendo un programa mi esposo y yo comimos otro poquito.
On the way to the park the chicharrón was crunching in our mouths, that becomes addictive, something that doesn't bother me in these cases. Arriving at the park I kept half of it and said this is for me, I'm going to offer Pepito to the kids, so I did. When they went for a walk I took out my chicharrón for the photo and to eat another little bit and give it to my husband. I really didn't want it to run out. The chicharron still made it home. Yesterday watching a program my husband and I ate another little bit.
Al llegar al parque para ubicarnos en una banqueta, empezamos a ver los animales, y nuestros celulares se activaron, tanto el de mi hija como el mío, por aquí dejamos algunas fotos. Los animales se portaron muy bien y posaron como todos unos expertos modelos.
When we got to the park to get on a sidewalk, we started to see the animals, and our cell phones went off, both mine and my daughter's, here are some pictures. The animals were very well behaved and posed like expert models.
También nos conseguimos con este árbol de ceiba que llamó mucho mi atención, pues su postura es muy llamativa, investigando con mi aplicación supe que también le dicen palos borrachos, allí entendí, él se dió una tremenda pea y más nunca se levantó, (algo de humor) como diría mi amiga Migda. Por aquí les dejo unas fotos del árbol y de mi esposo y yo pasando debajo de él. Fue cómico y agradable a la vez, sentía que andaba por la selva y que me persigue un león, tenía que hacerlo, 😂😂😂
We also got this ceiba tree that caught my attention, because its posture is very striking, investigating with my application I found out that they also call it "palos borrachos", there I understood, he gave himself a tremendous pea and never got up again, (some humor) as my friend Migda would say. Here are some pictures of the tree and my husband and I passing under it. It was funny and nice at the same time, I felt like I was walking through the jungle and being chased by a lion, I had to do it, 😂😂😂.
Otro trago amargo fue un antojo que nos llenó la vista de sabores pero al probarlo fue desagradable. Esta vez el antojado fue mi esposo, quería comerse un perro caliente, yo creo que el chicharrón nos alborotó el hambre porque yo también quería. Resolvimos y compramos un combo de 2 perros y un refresco en vaso, (los chicos seguían paseando). Al darle la probada que decepción nos llevamos, la salchicha no sabía a nada, era como si la habían remojado por días, la pusieron a hervir sin una gota de sal, no sabía a nada, es como cuando haces un arroz, se pasa de cocción y para colmo no le pone sal. Así mismo, pero con mucha tristeza lo comimos. Mi esposo estaba que quería que se lo tragara la tierra, pero bueno no era su culpa.
Another bitter drink was a craving that filled our eyes with flavors but when we tasted it, it was unpleasant. This time the craving was my husband, he wanted to eat a hot dog, I think the chicharron made us hungry because I wanted one too. We decided to buy a combo of 2 dogs and a soft drink in a glass (the kids were still walking around). The sausage did not taste like anything, it was as if it had been soaked for days, they put it to boil without a drop of salt, it did not taste like anything, it is like when you make rice, it is overcooked and to top it off they do not add salt. We ate it just like that, but with a lot of sadness. My husband wanted the earth to swallow it, but it was not his fault.
Estás fueron parte de las experiencias de ese día, una buenas y otras no tanto, pero la tercera parte será la mejor desde mi perspectiva, allí mi niña salió a divertirse y mi esposo se convirtió en el fotógrafo. These were part of the experiences of that day, some good and some not so good, but the third part will be the best from my perspective, there my little girl went out to have fun and my husband became the photographer. Hola estimada @tibisayq23, gracias por tu grata visita, si cuando las fotos se toman al aire libre suelen quedar mucho más hermosas. Que bueno que tengamos ese gusto en común, yo soy muy poco chuchera, no tolero mucho el dulce por causa de salud, pero si me dan un platanito, Pepito, papitas o chicharrón picante me harán realmente feliz. Yo también había perdido la cuenta del tiempo que tenía sin comerlo, pero lo disfruté al máximo, valió la pena el sacrificio. Espero tu también puedas romper tu récord y contarme. Un abrazo cariño fue muy lindo interactuar contigo.💐😘🤗
Que bueno mi linda igualmente para mi conocerte a través de tu post, síii las fotos quedan muy hermosa de esta manera, te cuento yo no soy muy dulcera me cuido por mi salud porque en la familia hay diabéticos y debo cuidarme mucho pero si me gusta los pepitos, platanitos, maníes pierdo la dieta con eso y me lo disfruto, te cuento que ayer tarde mi hijo me trajo maníes con ajonjolí pero eran dulzones pero muy sabrosos me comí unos dos puñados jajaja mi hijo me dijo que es mamá deja para otro día pues estaban muy sabrosos y crujiente, bueno mi linda un placer que tengas una feliz noche saludos y bendiciones un abrazo.
Que rico 😋😋😋😋 con eso maníes también me anoto, la pepa de merey exquisita. A mi me gusta más lo salado pero si me regalan algo dulce me lo como poco a poco. Para mí también ha sido un placer conocer algo de ti mi estimada @tibisayq23, espero seguir en contacto. Un fuerte abrazo 🤗
