With my wife on my way to therapy

We can consider as a process a set of unexpected situations that are triggered consecutively and that affect people's lives in a positive or negative way; often this set of situations arise and bring unexpected changes in our habits and in the way we lead our lives, this is because they are situations that we had not experienced before and become a personal and family challenge in many cases.

At the end of February things began to change at home, my life partner, my wife began to experience a series of symptoms that at first seemed to be a matter of stress or something simpler, however, the days passed and everything was increasing, these symptoms were made up of severe headache, pain in the back and arms, nausea and uncontrolled blood pressure.

These symptoms forced us to go to the hospital on several occasions, in these visits to the hospital the doctors found the uncontrolled blood pressure, so they recommended several laboratory studies to determine what was causing the problem, the recommended studies were: initially Blood Chemistry (Profile 20), X-rays of cervical spine, plus a thyroid profile, the latter we have not yet been able to perform.

After visiting the hospital several times in a time that I cannot determine now, and receiving the same recommendation for the same medical studies, we had to use an investment position that we had in the platform to pay for the medical studies, profile 20, cervical x-rays, in addition to paying for the medical consultation with the specialist in traumatology.

After being able to pay for the consultation with the traumatologist, the x-rays determined that my wife certainly has a rigid or rectified cervical spine, basically the cervical part of her spine is straight and does not have the normal curvature of a healthy cervical spine.

Everything is part of a process we think, the doctor ordered her to rest from work for 21 days, plus a treatment that includes the use of a rigid collar on her neck for 15 days, medications to relax the affected part and painkillers for the pain, in addition to recommending therapies to help overcome this crisis.

After returning from seeing the traumatologist, a few days later we went to a CDI Integral Diagnostic Center in our community, we were attended by a physiatrist who evaluated the x-rays observing in addition to the stiffness of the spine, she said she saw in the image some points that indicate osteoarthritis and thyroid problems, then, she indicated the corresponding therapies which we started the same day.

It has been two weeks since we started the treatment and therapies, and we have noticed a slight improvement, slow and desperate, but improvement, anyway; every morning we mentalize and walk to the CDI for my wife to receive her therapies, I have tried not to leave her alone for a moment in the process and help her in the housework which she has had to stop doing some.

All this has represented a huge challenge for us as a couple and family, challenge that we do not know when they will end, but we are sure we will be victorious, as part of these challenges that we could not achieve is the fact of not being able to perform the study of Thyroid Profile that has a cost of $ 25, besides that we had an appointment with an internist who visits our town, sita that we could not meet since the cost of such consultation is $ 25.

The diagnoses we have are: Rigid or Rectified Cervical Spine, Osteoarthritis, Thyroid Problems some of them to be confirmed or ruled out and we are doing our best to treat these cases, only what we can do, however, our MAIN card is called FAITH, we believe in a God of miracles, we believe that impossible things our heavenly father makes them possible and that we will overcome in this process, we are PRAYING for a total restoration of her cervical spine.
