Cada experiencia nos suma en la vida, porque se convierten en eso, experiencias, siempre debemos estar dispuestos a conocer nuevos lugares y atrevernos porque no sabemos si ese impulso, va a traer consigo un gran momento que marcará un antes y un después en nuestras vidas.
Every experience adds up in life, because they become just that, experiences, we must always be willing to know new places and dare because we do not know if that impulse will bring with it a great moment that will mark a before and after in our lives.
El prefacio de lo que les vengo a contar es un día cualquiera donde fui el de la idea en querer hacer un viaje a la playa, ya que nunca he podido conocerla, un amigo por whatsapp montó un estado donde anunciaba que hacía viajes a la playa y pues ahí nació mi idea, se lo comenté a mis amigos de la universidad y muchos se apuntaron, aun sabiendo los gastos que un viaje a la playa implica, la emoción estaba latente pero por diferentes razones el viaje se iba posponiendo hasta que se anunció que el viaje sería el 07 de Abril del presente año, cuestión que terminó por desmoronar la idea de ir a la playa pues ese mismo día es parte de la semana santa en Venezuela y muchos se reúnen para compartir con sus familias y ese plan, está entre los de mis amigos de la universidad.
The preface of what I come to tell you is a day where I was the one with the idea of wanting to make a trip to the beach, since I have never been able to meet her, a friend by whatsapp mounted a state where he announced that he made trips to the beach and then my idea was born, I told my friends from college and many signed up, even knowing the expenses that a trip to the beach involves, The excitement was latent but for different reasons the trip was postponed until it was announced that the trip would be on April 7th of this year, which ended up crumbling the idea of going to the beach because that same day is part of Holy Week in Venezuela and many gather to share with their families and that plan is among those of my friends at the university.
Pero aunque se había puesto un obstáculo, las ganas de viajar juntos seguían ahí, revisando mi galería descubrí una foto vieja donde se hacía mención de unos viajes que salían del terminal interurbano de Maturín, lugar de donde salen autobuses hacía diferentes municipios del estado Monagas, y que línea de autobuses de Transmonagas se dirigía a diferentes destinos turísticos, en este caso “Las Puertas de Miraflores”, ese sería nuestro destino, en tan solo una semana nos organizamos para asistir a tan maravilloso lugar.
But although an obstacle had been put, the desire to travel together was still there, reviewing my gallery I discovered an old photo where there was mention of some trips that left from the intercity terminal of Maturin, place where buses leave to different municipalities of the state of Monagas, and that Transmonagas bus line went to different tourist destinations, in this case "Las Puertas de Miraflores", that would be our destination, in just a week we organize ourselves to attend such a wonderful place.
Todo estaba organizado para que el viaje saliera el sábado 11 de Marzo, todos estábamos emocionados, lamentablemente todo el grupo no pudo asistir, pero asistimos al menos 6 del grupo, el autobús saldría ese mismo día a las 7 de la mañana, pero como personas responsables, llegamos ahí antes de la hora, cada uno comenzó a llegar con la emoción galopando en sus pechos, la euforia y alegría de conocer algo nuevo se percibía en el aire, yo personalmente estaba nervioso ya que no tengo buenas experiencias en los viajes, pero de alguna manera intente distraerme para poder estar tranquilo.
Everything was organized for the trip to leave on Saturday March 11, we were all excited, unfortunately the whole group could not attend, but we attended at least 6 of the group, the bus would leave that same day at 7 am, but as responsible people, we got there before the time, everyone began to arrive with excitement galloping in their chests, the euphoria and joy of knowing something new was perceived in the air, I personally was nervous as I do not have good experiences in travel, but somehow I tried to distract myself to be calm.
A medida que el autobús iba avanzando por cada municipio, podíamos disfrutar de unas hermosas vistas los teléfonos quedaron repletos de fotografías, entre casas coloniales y árboles de gran tamaño, hubo un instante en el que se detuvo en un pueblito el lugar se veía tan acogedor lleno de neblina, y el humor de las personas era tan familiar, cuestión que los hace distinguirse del resto de las personas de la ciudad, sin conocerte ellos te ofrecen su confianza y hasta un plato de comida; pasado los minutos el autobús retomo su camino y los árboles y zonas boscosas se hacían más presentes, las montañas predominaban el paisaje.
As the bus was advancing through each municipality, we could enjoy beautiful views, the phones were full of pictures, between colonial houses and large trees, there was a moment in which it stopped in a small town the place looked so cozy full of fog, and the mood of the people was so familiar, a matter that makes them stand out from the rest of the people in the city, without knowing you they offer you their trust and even a plate of food; After a few minutes the bus resumed its way and the trees and wooded areas became more present, the mountains dominated the landscape.
Todos en el bus esperaban pasar por el majestuoso embalse “El Guamo”, mejor conocido como la represa, el cual posee un gran atractivo turístico, este embalse puede almacenar al menos unos 155 millones metros cúbicos de agua provenientes de varios ríos como lo son el rio Guarapiche, Cocollar, Cerro Negro, Colorado, entre otros.
Everyone on the bus was waiting to pass by the majestic reservoir "El Guamo", better known as the dam, which has a great tourist attraction, this reservoir can store at least 155 million cubic meters of water from several rivers such as the Guarapiche, Cocollar, Cerro Negro, Colorado, among others.
Las asombrosas vistas que nos presenta esta zona llena de leyendas, quedaron captadas en nuestros teléfonos, de ahí en adelante llegaba el pueblo de San Antonio donde nos da la bienvenida el mural de la culebra gigante, dicho mural hace alusión a la leyenda de la culebra de Ipure, una breve reseña de este hecho es que la culebra fue abierta al haberse tragado el cuerpo de la hija del jefe de la tribu que estaba a orillas de la laguna de Ipure, pero luego de este hecho la culebra desapareció, cuenta la leyenda que esta culebra aún vive y se encuentra en la represa “El Guamo”.
The amazing views presented by this area full of legends, were captured in our phones, from there on we arrived at the town of San Antonio where we are welcomed by the mural of the giant snake, the mural alludes to the legend of the snake of Ipure, A brief review of this fact is that the snake was opened after swallowing the body of the daughter of the chief of the tribe that was on the banks of the Ipure lagoon, but after this fact the snake disappeared, the legend says that this snake is still alive and is in the "El Guamo" dam.
Continuando mi relato de la gran experiencia de ir a las Puertas de Miraflores, llegamos a nuestro destino, o bueno, parte de nuestro destino porque el autobús nos dejó en la entrada del balneario, de ahí en adelante debíamos ir a pies acompañados de los guardaparques quienes tienen conocimiento de la zona, un dato de interés es que se encuentra ubicado en un sector llamado “Miraflores” perteneciente al parque nacional “El Guácharo”.
Continuing my story of the great experience of going to the Puertas de Miraflores, we arrived at our destination, or well, part of our destination because the bus left us at the entrance of the resort, from there on we had to go on foot accompanied by the park rangers who have knowledge of the area, a fact of interest is that it is located in a sector called "Miraflores" belonging to the national park "El Guácharo".
Para poder llegar a las puertas, las cuales son dos grandes rocas, se debe atravesar al menos siete veces el río, mejor conocido como siete cruces donde se convierte en una aventura para los que deciden ir por primera vez, esa relación que se guarda en ese instante con la naturaleza es algo mágico, el sonido de los pájaros, el choque de la corriente del agua con las rocas y la compañía de tus amigos es algo único en el mundo, donde atesoras un momento tan imborrable en tus recuerdos, aunque desde un principio se desconocía que se podía obtener de un viaje imprevisto, se obtuvo una vivencia y las ganas de seguir conociendo lugares tan mágicos como lo son 'Las Puertas de Miraflores'.
