On 20 November 2022, we received a beautiful and unexpected visit at our home; my cousin David's family was planning to come and spend some time and bring their son, Isaac. Isaac is very important to me, because he was the first newborn baby with whom I created a great bond; I have always been very close to my cousin, and him having a son was a nice surprise.
El 20 de noviembre de 2022, recibimos en nuestra casa una hermosa e inesperada visita; la familia de mi primo David pensaba venir a pasar un rato y traer su hijo, Isaac. Isaac es muy importante para mí, porque fue el primer bebé recién nacido con el que creé un gran vínculo; siempre he sido muy unida a mi primo, y que él tuviera un hijo fue una agradable sorpresa.

Isaac, at the time, was 1 year old and incredibly lively; he loved and was soothed by music, which was played to distract him. One of the things that struck me most was that he loved rock music as much as I did. He repeatedly grabbed David's phone to put it to his ear and listen to the songs he played for him.
Isaac, para ese entonces, tenía 1 año y era increíblemente vivaz; le encantaba y calmaba la música, la cual le ponían para distraerlo. Una de las cosas que más me llamó la atención fue que le encantaba el rock tanto como a mí. Repetidas veces agarró el teléfono de David para ponerlo en su oreja y escuchar mejor las canciones que él le ponía.

When I arrived, he walked around the house with a lot of curiosity; he liked me immediately, and came up to me to play. My aunt, without asking my permission, sat him on my lap, making him the first baby I had ever had such close contact with. He was very well behaved; for a baby not more than a year and a few months old, he was very intelligent and quiet.
Al llegar, caminaba por toda la casa con mucha curiosidad; le caí bien de inmediato, y se me acercó para jugar. Mi tía, sin pedirme previo permiso, lo sentó en mis piernas, convirtiéndolo en el primer bebé con el que tenía un contacto tan cercano. Era muy bien portado; para ser un bebé de no más de un año y unos meses, era muy inteligente y tranquilo.

David, Isaac and I started listening to music together. David, with a cuatro we have at home, sat him on his lap and mimed playing together.
David, Isaac y yo empezamos a escuchar música juntos. David, con un cuatro que tenemos en casa, lo sentó en sus piernas e hizo la mímica de tocar juntos.
We all, as a family, shared a very special lunch; pasticho made by my grandmother. I remember this moment very much, because it was the last time my aunt visited the house before she left the city. I have had contact with Isaac, who is still around, on other occasions.
Todos, en familia, compartimos un almuerzo muy especial; pasticho hecho por mi abuela. Recuerdo mucho este momento, porque fue la última vez que mi tía visitó la casa antes de irse de la ciudad. Con Isaac, que sigue por estos lados, he tenido contacto en otras ocasiones.
