Since I was little, this date has meant more than just Christmas, as it is also my mom's birthday, so it is of great importance that all members of my small family are gathered to be able to share with her and celebrate her life, which means I can't escape to other people's houses.
The first thing we did, like every year, was to have the typical Christmas dinner with hallaca, ham bread, and chicken salad (I owe you the pork because we were too lazy 🤣). For this occasion, we didn't dress extravagantly, we put on the first thing we found and went to enjoy the dinner.
Then we sang happy birthday to my mom with a small cake we bought that same day. We don't eat much cake here, so we don't need to have a lot. As always, my best wishes for my mom, one of the best women I have ever known, may God give her good health so that she can continue to guide and support me in every step I take.
To end the night, I prepared some gifts for my mom and my sister, I wanted to play Santa this year. The content of the gifts is a secret 🤫.
It may not be the most extravagant Christmas, with a big party and many people in my house, but we were all the ones who live together day by day in my home, healthy and happy. May God allow me to continue spending my Christmases like this for many more years.

Feliz navidad a todas las personas de esta linda comunidad. Espero que hayan pasado navidad con todos sus seres queridos, en salud y alegría, que es lo más importante. Por mi parte gracias a Dios tuve la oportunidad de estar en mi casa con mis padres, mi hermana y mi abuela.
Desde que soy pequeña esta fecha es más que navidad, ya que también es el cumpleaños de mi mamá, así que es de suma importancia que todos los miembros de mi pequeña familia estemos reunidos para poder compartir con ella y celebrar su vida, eso significa que no puedo escaparme a la casa de los demás.
Lo primero que hicimos como todos los años fue tener la típica cena navideña con hallaca, pan de jamón y ensalada de gallina (les debo la carne de cochino porque nos dio flojera 🤣). Para esta ocasión no nos vestimos de manera extravagante, nos pusimos lo primero que encontramos y fuimos a disfrutar de la cena.
Luego le cantamos cumpleaños a mi mamá con una pequeña torta qué compramos ese mismo día. Aquí no comemos mucha torta, así que no necesitamos tener tanta. Como siempre mis mejores deseás para mi mamá, una de las mejores mujeres que he conocido, Dios le de mucha salud para que pueda seguir guiándome y apoyándome en cada paso que doy.
Para finalizar la noche preparé unos regalos para mi mamá y mi hermana, quise jugar a Santa este año. El contenido de los regalos es un secreto 🤫.
No será la navidad más extravagante, con una gran fiesta y muchas personas en mi casa, pero estábamos todos los que convivimos día a día en mi hogar, saludable y alegres. Dios me permita seguir pasando mis navidades así por muchos años más.
