I don't think people I am friends with online are any more virtual than the pen-pals of old, nor are the relationships=connections I have with them. Cheating on your spouse is certainly bad, but doing it online doesn't make it any worse, and a lot of friendships are simply friendships, online and off! Communication between spouses is important, yes, but so is communication with others. Imagine a married couple who never talk to anybody but each other - how many days until they have nothing more to say, because they have no input from the rest of the world?

I spend most of my day connected to HIVE, but I always explain to my wife what I am doing and why I am doing it, communication is super important, sometimes it consumes so much of my time that I forget my marital commitment, I think it really is a problem, reading your post I have to improve on that, thanks for sharing your reflection.
