Hi all, greetings.
Here is my new digital art. It's a portrait drawing of a man wearing face cap.
I tried another process of portrait drawing today. I didn't make the whole outline before adding shadings. I stopped half way and added shades then completed the figure thereafter.
The piece was done with AutoDesk sketchbook application using scribble style and aided with an S-pen. My steps can be seen below:

Thank you.
Interesting approach here. Very clever and deceptive. Your eyes trick you into seeing a whole face, but this guy actually has no chin at all. LOL. I wouldn't have noticed if I didn't follow your stages. You work outside in, but skip the chin. Then add detail top down. Really, it's just a mouth, beard and wrinkles. I'm blown away. You take simple things and make them really sophisticated.
Yeah, there was no chin in the first stage of outline and shading. I didn't feel the stress much cause I'm used to sketching with free hand instead of gridlines.
Nice to see you noticed that.
I love the baseball cap. It's so distinct that it makes the gentleman look like a professional ball player in his youth. I imagine it a souvenir from his playing days.
Nicely done. Thanks for sharing.
Take care.
