¡LET FEAR NOT GOVERN YOUR LIFE!

in HeartChurch4 years ago

We by the grace of God were called to be light in the midst of darkness, we are called to be brave and to have self-control not with our forces but with the forces of God. I believe that humanly we could not have the necessary strength for these dark times that we are living.
It is true that the word of God tells us that God's judgment would come to earth and that we would go through various tribulations, but the Lord also warned us to trust in Him and not to trouble our hearts.

In the Bible there are several verses that are promises for us so that we put it into practice and we can overcome adversities.

It is normal for us to feel fear in storms but when that happens we must put our trust in God.

Psalms 56: 3
"When I feel fear, I put my trust in you."
New International Version (NIV).

The psalmist David is an example of this feeling that many times he had to overcome by immersing himself in the depth of God.

In the same way the apostle Paul encourages us to cry out to God for this attitude so that fear does not enslave us and we can have confidence in Him just as a son has with his father.

Romans 8:15
“And you did not receive a spirit that once again enslaves you to fear, but the Spirit that adopts you as children and allows you to cry out:« Abba! Father!""
New International Version (NIV).

The spirit that we have received from God is not a spirit of slavery but of freedom because before we were enslaved by the world.

2 Timothy 1: 7
"For God has not given us a spirit of shyness, but of power, love and self-control."
New International Version (NIV).

Let us cry out to God for that spirit of power and self-control that He has given us to fight in adversity.
In that same order of ideas, the book of Deuteronomy urges us to be strong and brave and not to fear before the nations since He has promised that He will never abandon us because He will always be our company every day of our lives.

Deuteronomy 31: 6
"Be strong and brave. Do not fear or panic before those nations, for the Lord your God will always accompany you; he will never leave them nor forsake them. ”
New International Version (NIV)

Philippians 4: 6-7
“Don't worry about anything; rather, on every occasion, with prayer and supplication, present your requests to God and give thanks. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. ”
New International Version (NIV).

Brothers and friends, let us continue praying and crying out to God because it is the only refuge we have in the face of the storms of life. Let us not be distressed and keep the promise in our hearts.

Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, because I am with you; do not be distressed, because I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will support you with my victorious right hand. ”
New International Version (NIV)

¡WITH LOTS OF LOVE!

These are sure promises dear Sister Darlenys.
