The number one duty of any child of God is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus handed unto us who have been saved the great commission and it is now in our place to take the good news to the nooks and crannies of the world.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise. - Proverbs 11:30
However, in order that we obtain tangible results from evangelism, we must do it the right way. There are strategies to doing things in life; engaging in evangelism haphazardly would yield no result.

Firstly, one must first have that transformation encounter with Jesus before deciding to go preach to another. There is a popular saying that goes thus, 'you cannot give what you do not have.' You cannot preach about something you have no in-depth knowledge about.
Spend time to study the bible and understand it as a child of God. Be filled with the knowledge of God as well as have that born again experience of which you will share to those you intend to preach to.
No believer should shy away from evangelism; it is what we have been called out to do. In fact as a child of God, you should have passion for winning souls. When you do not have the passion for the lost souls, there will be no burden to go preach them. Develop passion for the lost souls; there are many of them on the streets we live in.
It might interest you to know that there is a great reward for those who win souls to the kingdom of God and God Himself is excited when people are being emancipated from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light.

A new believer can still share their new faith with other people. They won't know everything but that's OK. Just seeing the changes that God has made in their lives in such a short time is more than enough to witness to others.
