GENEROSITY BEGETS GENEROSITY.

Do you as a believer in Jesus Christ know that you are supposed to look out for your brothers and sisters in Christ? You are to be of assistance where you can, acting as a link between your brother or sister that you know and another brother or sister you know but the original brother or sister doesn't know. You are to put them in a position of advantage where it is within your power. You are to help them succeed by introducing them to those that could be of benefit to their enterprise.

The caveat is that you are to know the brother or sister as a believer so you can vouch for him or her. You are family, so whatever form of assistance that is within your power to render, render. This actually is the nut in the shell of Luke 6:36-38 and Galatians 6:7.

In doing this, it will be done for you. Generosity begets generosity.

Paul demonstrated this in no small way in
Romans 16:1-2

Scriptures:

Romans 16:1-2 (NIV)

16 I commend(A) to you our sister Phoebe, a deacon[a][b] of the church in Cenchreae.(B) 2 I ask you to receive her in the Lord(C) in a way worthy of his people(D) and to give her any help she may need from you, for she has been the benefactor of many people, including me.

Luke 6:36-38 (NIV)

36 Be merciful,(A) just as your Father(B) is merciful.
37“Do not judge, and you will not be judged.(D) Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.(E) 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.(F) For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Galatians 6:7

7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
