Season 2023 calendar for the World Rally Championship is finally out and I don't understand why FIA guys didn't publish it earlier.
As I wrote yesterday, Junior WRC series couldn't decide will their start will be at Monte Carlo Rallye or later. And the reason for this is late WRC calendar.
But now we have it published and it is still thirteen events calendar instead of fourteen as it was expected. Nice thing is that some events shall be back after Covid-19 crises.
So the Mexico and Chile are back while Catalunya Spain and Ypres Rally Belgium are out There is completely new event on the calendar - and it is called Central Europe Rally. It is a rally organised by three countries together - Austria, Czech Republic and Germany. This event will be a tarmac event.
It will interesting season with some new/old events and I recommend WRC+ app if you are a big fan of the sport of rallying. If not, there will always be Red Bull TV which gives us half an hour coverage of each day for free.
