Hi, friends!
I just heard that there is a possibility of return of Swede Oliver Solberg into the top tier category of World Rally Championship for next season. The only open place is in the M-Sport Ford team which offers places to the young talented drivers who can bring them a budget.
I don't if the Solberg family is prepared to pay or bring the sponsorship money for the son's drive but his father Petter is a 2003 WRC champion and he knows how hard is to progress in the sport without a drive.
This year Solberg jr is in WRC2 seat with Toksport team and he showed a speed and determantion but he still makes mistakes and retires occasionaly which is something team bosses don't like. The same thing happened to him last year when he was with Hyundai works squad and that was a reason why he lost a seat with them.
I think that he showed that he can be auper quick but he must be more consistant if he wants back works seat in the future.
So, if he brings the budget to M-Sport Ford, he will get a seat because I can see him more talented then P-L Loubet or Adrien Fourmaux.
