Gus Greensmith is in the top category of the World Rally Championship for some time but this season is his first full season with the WRC car.
He didn't have some bigger results so far but it seems that he decided to have this few first rallies as a time to collect some experience.
When you look at Oliver Solberg and his first WRC outing in the Rally1 car, it is easily to see the difference between those drivers.
Ok, M-Sport Ford doesn't test much with their works drivers and when you sell the top seat to the rich privateer, that also can't help much. They just need some top dogs to fight for the best positions and lots of testing.
I guess that M-Sport will have this season just for development of the new car and just to go through the year because they don't care about bad results and 8th and 9th places as their top finishes.
Greensmith drove better at Arctic then at Monte but this is still a process of learning but when you see that Teemu Suninen finished just one place ahead and he is much more advanced driver, then it is easy to see that Greensmith will have some more time for learning but no one can say how much.
