I've been in the healing arts for a long time.
Just this year, I found myself opening a new door I'd never really considered before: sound healing.
I'd seen stuff about sound healing in terms of using crystal bowls and gongs and chanting and stuff, but none of it seemed that... compelling.
Nice? Sure. Life-changing? Not so sure.
That is, until I discovered Eileen McKusick, the founder of Biofield Tuning.
For 29 years, she's been messing around with tuning forks, using them on clients to support their bodies to heal an astonishing number of ailments.
This is what I'm talking about - see photo above.
I've been in the wellness space long enough to know a wannabe from a charlatan, a good marketer from a master.
Eileen is masterful in her work.
Hence, I've been lapping it up since February.
And today... we finally bought my first tuning fork!
Woooooooooooooo!
Here it is. Well, a picture of it taken on my phone from the website.
It should arrive at our place in about 3 weeks from now. (East Coast USA to East Coast Australia is a long way for stuff to travel!)
I thought I also needed to buy a hockey puck because, to use the tuning fork, it needs to get activated by striking it against something solid but not too hard that it damages the fork.
Eileen has tested a bunch of things and her number one recommendation is a Canadian hockey puck.
Thus, this is what she sells on her website.
But when I discussed the purchase with Brad (as this wasn't going to be cheap) he informed me that he had a hockey puck. Not only that, he had a Canadian Viceroy hockey puck - the exact thing Eileen recommends.
Hilarious.
So, I'm delighted. After months and months of learning from Eileen through video interviews and participating in sound healings through free and low-cost recorded group healings, I am now finally going to have a tuning fork of my own that I can use at will.
I'll be using it on myself, with my friends and neighbours, with... well, anyone I care about who will let me near them with my new magic wand specially crafted scientific instrument!
