No, he might not transfer the poverty as he is satisfied. You know how parents sometimes try to impose their dreams on children. Maybe when he will grow up he will guide his children to educate them self or maybe he will get crazy for grades of his children. Anything can happen,what I think is he will impose his dreams on next generation. Maybe in his mind he is already doing this for the next generation. Might be he was just trying to be strong in front of me.
