Every day, many people everywhere are on and about with various activities to yield productivity. The daily schedules, appointments, notifications goal setting, goal chasing, strategizing, and constant need to improve upon what we achieved yesterday make stillness a luxury for many.

When was the last time we took a deep breath, took a silent pause and just allowed ourselves to feel. I have been in that activity bubble that I lost myself many times. I had days I would just cry and wish there was more time in the day as it always seemed that there's a lot to be done. I'd crave the weekends, but when it came, I would still want more time for it too. It just seemed time was never enough and there was just a lot to achieve. I started to have burnouts and my health was affected. I knew I had to do something about it.

Taking a pause is not the complete absence of activities. Its the presence of awareness when you realise that you are going at wind speed and if you don't take a break you might crash out. So you take a deep breath and allow yourself some stillness. In that stillness you let yourself feel or process more. As you do that you notice that you are gaining clarity, finding solutions to problems, allowing your creative juice flow and ultimately gaining inner peace.

Stillness is uncomfortable for many because it makes them sit and have those deep thoughts and confront emotions or truths they do not want to face. But stillness helps us to move on from these emotions, creating a path for a clearer and successful future.

In all pausing and reflecting is a gift that helps us put things in perspective and reminds us that living is not all about the daily rush but also living in the moment, findind time to recharge and truly work with a better and peaceful minset

In my case, I took the needed pause to reflect then reset and this helped me a lot both physically and mentally and life goes on in the world. Sometimes it looks as if when we don't take that break something will crack, life could end or the world would stop revolving. No! Life goes on and everyone adjusts. Take the needed time to pause and reflect. Your health would thank you for it.
