Hello, dear friend @palomap3, good morning
What you say is very true. One must learn to listen to one's body and stop when the first signs of stress appear. This is one of those illnesses that doesn't take itself seriously, and it's much more serious than it seems.
The loss of a pet is very painful, and contrary to what one might think, it doesn't just go away with the passage of time. The good thing is what you mentioned: that you lived it to the fullest and enjoyed every moment of the 16 years it was with you.
How great that you've finally been able to fulfill all your expectations; that's truly positive.
It's great to have you back, dear friend.
Have a wonderful week.
Stress seriously damages our health, but today's society does not make it easy to stop and rest. It seems that we have to 'optimise' every second of our lives and we are made to feel guilty for taking care of ourselves...
I know you understand me well when I mention my pet. The truth is that I am coping better than I had imagined. And yes, I also know that it will always hurt.
I hope you are well too. Hugs!
