Hola querido hiver.
En mis labores de curación me encuentro prácticamente a diario con casos de usuarios que tratan de aprovecharse del fondo de recompensas de maneras poco honestas. Esto no es ninguna novedad, ya lo sé. Allá donde hay un ser humano pronto emergen la envidia, la codicia y las ansias de dominio de sus congéneres. Y si el esfuerzo invertido es mínimo parece que les da más satisfacción.
Recuerdo la rabia que sentía cuando en mi infancia mis compañeros de juegos hacían trampas, a veces sin disimulo e incluso riéndose mutuamente “la gracia” de haberse sentido más listo por no jugar limpio. Me sentía impotente y me enfadaba sin poderlo evitar. Lo peor era llegar a casa, contárselo a mis padres, y que ellos le restaran importancia y se rieran también diciéndome que solo era un juego y no perdía nada.
Entonces no lo entendía, pero ahora sé que tanto mis compañeros tramposos como mis padres me estaban aleccionando para la vida futura. Por ejemplo, para lo que ahora encuentro aquí en Hive como escribía al principio. Lo que ha cambiado es mi forma de afrontarlo. Ya no me enfada. Ahora siento lástima por quien necesita recurrir a ser deshonesto para considerarse exitoso.
Sé que mi franqueza a veces juega en mi contra. Puedo precipitarme en no conceder el beneficio de la duda en días donde mi paciencia es menor. También está quien no le gusta recibir respuestas sinceras y prefieren perpetuar una falsedad que queda en evidencia en algún momento. Por eso trato de ser honesta incluso cuando supone que mi beneficio inmediato sea menor.
Lo que mejor me funciona es concentrar mi atención en aquellos que considero que merece la pena apoyar, ignorando lo demás. ¿De qué sirve tirar las escasas energías que me quedan a un pozo sin fondo? Porque con los tramposos ocurre como con aquella hidra mitológica: cortas una cabeza y le crecen dos.
¿No será más inteligente utilizar esas energías para impulsar a quien comparte su conocimiento, experiencias y vida reales? Prefiero incentivar a quien hace las cosas bien en lugar de castigar a quien las hace mal. También prefiero pensar bien en un primer momento. Se puede advertir con amabilidad, dar la oportunidad de aprender y corregirse. Yo también necesité orientación cuando no tenía ni idea de cómo funciona esto. Sigo aprendiendo.

Hi dear hiver.
In my curation work, I come across almost every day cases of users who try to take advantage of the reward fund in dishonest ways. This is nothing new, I know. Wherever there is a human being, envy, greed and the desire to dominate their fellow human beings soon emerge. And if the effort invested is minimal, it seems to give them more satisfaction.
I remember the rage I felt when, in my childhood, my playmates cheated, sometimes undisguised and even laughing at each other "the fun" of having felt smarter for not playing fair. I felt helpless and got angry without being able to help it. The worst thing was to get home, tell my parents about it, and they downplayed it and laughed too, telling me that it was just a game and I didn't lose anything.
I didn't understand it then, but now I know that both my cheating classmates and my parents were teaching me lessons for my future life. For example, for what I now find here in Hive as I wrote at the beginning. What has changed is the way I deal with it. It doesn't make me angry anymore. I now feel sorry for those who need to resort to being dishonest to consider themselves successful.
I know that my openness sometimes works against me. I can be hasty in not giving the benefit of the doubt on days when my patience is at its lowest. Then there are those who don't like to receive honest answers and prefer to perpetuate a falsehood that is exposed at some point. So I try to be honest even when it means my immediate benefit is less.
What works best for me is to focus my attention on those I consider worth supporting, ignoring the rest. What's the point of throwing what little energy I have left into a bottomless pit? Because with cheaters it's like that mythological hydra: cut off one head and it grows two.
Wouldn't it be wiser to use those energies to encourage those who share their real knowledge, experiences and life? I prefer to encourage those who do things right rather than punish those who do things wrong. I also prefer to think well in the first place. You can warn with kindness, give the opportunity to learn and correct themselves. I needed guidance when I had no idea how this works, too. I am still learning.

No ha ocurrido nada en especial. ☺️ El tema de mis reflexiones semanales hoy era la honestidad y pienso que mi experiencia curando contenidos en Hive tiene relación con eso, porque reviso decenas de publicaciones a diario y veo de todo… pero no he escrito el post con ningún usuario concreto en la mente ni es una indirecta para nadie, jeje.

La verdad es que no se muy bien cómo funciona esto. Ya te digo que yo solo escribo y leo lo que me interesa. Unas veces me vota gente, otras no. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

Mientras estés bien así, adelante. Hive es un lugar increíble para aprender unos de otros, y lo importante es que disfrutemos del tiempo que pasamos aquí. El incentivo económico es un plus, obviamente, pero tenemos suerte de no depender de nuestras recompensas para pagar las facturas. Eso cambia mucho la perspectiva.
Ahora, tampoco entiendo muy bien por qué unas veces no vota nadie y otras veces me vota mucha gente que no conozco. Es extraño
Ese montón de gente que no conoces y que te vota es porque te votó uno y los demás siguen su voto. Se llaman trails de curación, por si quieres buscar más información sobre ellos.

Cada uno debe hacerse cargo de sus actos y no es mi misión ser la niñera de nadie. A veces confundo ayudar con hacer lo que corresponde a otros, tengo que trabajarme mucho este aspecto.
