I know what you might be thinking... what's this title all about, Wes? Well, this post has been sitting in my PeakD Editor for quite some time. Conversely, many of you already know what I have been dealing with, and why I have "been away". Much the same, you know, I don't go into great detail about my personal life.
A complete show of transparency? I have been writing this post since I typed that Taking A Short Break. post. Not the same day. But that's how long I have been away. Sure, I have been behind the scenes in a few Discord Servers... curated a few posts. But I just had to pause...
May 22nd... You know I missed my "Eight Year's On The Blockchain" moment. I missed my community "Six Year's On The Blockchain" moment... Never thought it would make it that far lol. But you see.... my moms life partner passed away in 2023. Mom fell and broke her hip... twice. We brought her back home to live with us, because no one else deserved to take care of her. They couldn't, like we could, anyway... I was in a wheelchair for a while. I don't drive anymore... Don't take this as complaining! NO no... not what my intentions are! The world seems constipated... yeah? You feel it? Free Our Mind... What's that? Oh yes... @mondoshawan is part of the awesome. Started it actually... we just (@stayten too) try to help folks clear the air, and your "brian" (ha ha I know). I won't be going back to how things were... "before". But I am not going anywhere, I just wanted everyone to know where I was... my plans movng forward, etceteraaaaaaa........ I am not going to make this some super awesome 5000 word post. I just want to say something, then I am going to get this published!
Listen... everyone is ALWAYS going on about, "Tell your friends and family you love them!"... "You never know what might happen!"... When you are put in the situation of taking care of the person that was your rock... your whole world... that taught you to be who you are... and they struggle daily to remember who they are. Well, here's that "I don't talk much about my personal life". I will say this... I have seen all of you who are still using the #thoughtfuldailypost TAG or posting in the community. Thank You. I can't guarantee I will be curating every post... and for those of you dear souls, who have delegated your precious Hive Power? Thank you, as well. Please know I am not leaving our Blockchain... I am just taking care of things and will be back soon.....

Time: only time tells us when, who, and why. That little phrase about saving time in a bottle made me think about what I would save there. Time to be at home with my little family, even though it's already late for me. Those who were there are no longer there Time passes. I long for the memories. But we remain strong.
Take care of and protect your mother; you're not losing anything, you're treasuring good memories.

Life happens so fast. We move with the tide. Sorry about your mom's health and all. I wish you the strength to cope with life's anxiety and I wish you the best. I honestly miss the weekly prompt, but I understand totally. Take care of you!

Oh, dear! I know you mentioned in the discord that you've been away for a while. But, I didn't get a clue that it could've been anything of this sort.
I also realise that you do not want this to be some pity party, but my heart genuinely prays for you and your family. I do hope that you recover the losses, get renewed strength to carry on daily, and most especially, enjoy the time you have left with your loved ones. You may never get it back.
I'll be taking your advice as well. Always going to keep telling my people that I love them, and I'll do my best to make sure they feel all my love. Have a lovely November, Wes! Lots of love, too, for putting me on to Sheldon King. Currently beeing around in my home. Haha.❤️

Wes, that is such a challenging situation to deal with. I had a similar (albeit different circumstances) with my late father - when he passed, it had been many years since he even recognized who we were. My best wishes to you and yours (with extra love & light to your mother) as you walk this difficult path.
