Esta mina está situada en la provincia Mayabeque en Cuba y es una de las más importantes a nivel nacional. En esta mina se extrae el carbonato de calcio, el cual tiene muchos usos, desde componentes para materiales de construcción hasta suplemento de calcio en algunos alimentos.
