Amigos de la comunidad #aliento, quise unirme a esta iniciativa porque me motiva mucho compartir con todos: ¿Qué es lo que más me apasiona? Desde hace muchos años Dios me ha estado preparando para enseñar a todo aquel que necesite de mi ayuda, por supuesto en aquello que he aprendido y en verdad no fue algo programado o construido por vocación, ya que en mis inicios como músico en la especialidad de la guitarra, clásica o popular, en el canto y en el estudio de la música, me fui formando no solo para ejecutar el instrumentos, sino, que poco a poco se fue construyendo un maestro de música digno de una ciudad tan musical como es Cumaná, en el Oriente venezolano.

For many years God has been preparing me to teach anyone who needs my help, of course in what I have learned and in truth it was not something programmed or built by vocation, since in my beginnings as a musician in the specialty of The guitar, classical or popular, in singing and in the study of music, I was trained not only to play the instruments, but, little by little, a music teacher worthy of a city as musical as Cumaná was built , in the Venezuelan East.
Les haré un recuento del porque creo que todo sucedió por la gracia de nuestro Dios. En mi primera experiencia con una profesora llamada Carolina Fernández, bella mujer, bella voz y magnifica forma de tocar la guitarra, ella es usuaria en la plataforma pero en este momento no recuerdo el nombre que usa en hive. Ella me enseñó los primeros pasos en la guitarra, y en el primer mes ya le estaba dando problemas porque me gustaba mucho tocar canciones de Silvio Rodríguez y a ella también. Sus detalles en la ejecución eran un problema para mi, y me veía en la obligación de buscar cada nota y mejorar la forma en que ella tocaba. Cuando empecé a corregirla delante de mis compañeros tuvimos muchos problemas y me mandó a freír chorizo. En Oriental del Oriente venezolano, sencillamente me mandaba a ese lugar que nadie le gusta que le manden.

Luego por una información que leí en la prensa local, Fui en busca de la Orquesta Típica de Sucre dirigida, por el maestro Frank López, ya con algunos dominios en la ejecución de la guitarra, López me pidió tocar un poco para ver en que lugar me colocaba en la Orquesta. Y me pidió que me encargara de enseñarles a la fila de la guitarra, las partes escritas porque ninguno de ellos leía partituras, fue entonces cuando me inicié como facilitador en guitarra clásica. Para aquel entonces no tenía idea de que esta era mi pasión. Y 34 años después estoy plenamente seguro de que enseñarle música a los alumnos es lo que más me apasiona, no es el hecho de tocar bien una obra, es ver a un alumno lograr mejorar día a día y construyendo su sueño.

Hace más de 30 años me sucedió algo muy parecido, cuando fui a estudiar guitarra clásica en el Conservatorio José Ängel Lamas, conocida como la Escuela Superior de Música. Allí tuve la oportunidad de estudiar con maestros increíbles, Alberto Espinoza, José Luís Presa, entre ellos, además en ese tiempo me tocó asistir como oyente a las clases con Leopoldo Igarza, dicen los expertos que es en la actualidad el mejor maestro de toda Caracas.

Yo cuando viajaba a la Capital, me quedaba en casa de un tío que le gustaba tocar guitarra, y estaba aprendiendo en una Academia llamada Juan Sebastian Bach. El me contó en uno mis viajes, que su profesor maestro de guitarra se había retirado, fui al lugar y José Luís mi pariente me presentó con el director, un señor de aproximadamente 58 años de edad su nombre era Isaac Dugarte, él me pidió que le enseñara mi domino con la guitarra, después de eso regresé al otro día como profesor de la cátedra de guitarra clásica en esa institución.

Tuve una muy bella experiencia en esa academia, ya que su matrícula aumentó 300 % mientras estuve a cargo de la cátedra, y en la Academia había una venta de instrumentos que también aumentó la venta de guitarras, porque me pedían tocarlas para los posibles compradores. No eran muy buenas esas guitarras pero para mi era muy fácil tocarlas porque tenía mucha facilidad, pero para los compradores, nada que ver, me di cuenta de que era un problema, porque las guitarras eran verdaderamente malas y en poco tiempo aquellos que adquirían las guitarras me decían que los había embaucado.
I had a very beautiful experience in that academy, since their enrollment increased 300% while I was in charge of the chair, and at the Academy there was an instrument sale that also increased the sale of guitars, because they asked me to play them for potential buyers. Those guitars weren't very good but for me it was very easy to play them because I had a lot of ease, but for the buyers, nothing to do with it, I realized that it was a problem, because the guitars were really bad and in a short time those who acquired them guitars told me I had duped them.
En esos años todo pasó muy rápido y me convertí en la mejor referencia en la enseñanza de la guitarra en la ciudad de Cumaná, y en el Estado Sucre. Debo agradecer a mi gran maestro cuando inicié en el estudio de partituras, Manuel Sánchez, un gran guitarrista y mucho mejor persona, como suelen ser los músicos. A él mi más merecido reconocimiento.
In those years, everything happened very quickly and I became the best reference in the teaching of guitar in the city of Cumaná, and in the State of Sucre. Quiero nombrar alumnos que he formado durante tantos años, en la guitarra clásica: Carlos Gonzáles, Daniel Romero, David Centeno, Joel Franceschi, Annerys Rodríguez, José Romero, Leonel Villarroel, entre otros. Se que dejé de nombrar muchos alumnos, pero en verdad es muy difícil recordarlos a todos. En canto más son mis amigos, Marwin Menéses, Gustavo Marval, Carlitos Antonio Salazar, y en la plataforma hay muchos alumnos, pero muchos de ellos han recibido clases de otros profesores, no quise nombrarlos para no herir susceptibilidades.

Porque digo que es mi pasión enseñar: en verdad es porque cuando los alumnos logran, cantar, tocar, interpretar, o ejecutar una obra y luego verlo recibir el aplauso del público, en verdad eso me llena de mucha satisfacción, en tantos años enseñando, y conociendo a mis alumnos, con sus problemas familiares, convivir con sus realidades, en estos tiempos tan difíciles, me han hecho reconocer que verdaderamente esta es mi pasión.
