Bienvenidos a esta serie de posts explicativos para apoyar el proceso de aprendizaje en nuestro programa de Onboarding.
Iniciaremos con la creación de cuentas. Muchos de ustedes ya tendrán sus cuentas, abiertas con nosotros durante nuestros eventos presenciales, pero este post puede ayudar a aquellos que hayan tenido que retirarse antes de esa etapa, o a amigos y familiares a los que quieran traer a Hive.
Creación de cuentas
Desde Inleo podemos crear cuentas utilizando nuestro Twitter o Correo electrónico. La manera que recomendamos es por medio de Gmail.
El siguiente enlace te llevará a la página de sign up. Tiene nuestro código de referido para poder hacerle seguimiento a las cuentas creadas por medio de este proyecto.
- Primer paso
Clink en el enlace para ir a la página de sign up
- Segundo paso
Entre las opciones para sign up, selecciona una de las tres, recomendamos expresamente que utilicen Gmail.
- Tercer paso
Selecciona tu nombre de usuario, máximo 16 caracteres, no mayúsculas, sin espacios. Será el usuario visible para todos y también tu billetera. Confirma y permite a gmail realizar la operación.
La cuenta lite ha sido creada, ahora puedes ir a log in e iniciar sesión con la opción de Gmail
¿Qué es una cuenta lite?
Es una cuenta ligera que te permite realizar acciones básicas solo en InLeo, no permite realizar acciones relacionadas con la billetera ni entrar a otras aplicaciones de Hive. Es útil para conocer InLeo y familiarizarte con la página antes de reclamar tus llaves.
Reclamar las llaves
Para acceder a todas las funciones, a otras aplicaciones de Hive y tener el control total de tu cuenta, necesitas tus llaves. Una vez las reclames, no podrás entrar nuevamente con el correo, solo con las llaves.
Las reclamarás del siguiente modo:
- Primer paso
Ve a settings o ajustes y selecciona "start claiming process" o "empezar reclamo" es el botón con la llave.
- Segundo paso
Click en "Use secure password" o el botón verde, copia esa clave como respaldo. Luego da click en "Download keys" o el botón amarillo.
- Tercer paso
Se habrá descargado un archivo de texto, ábrelo y confirma que puedes verlo correctamente, toma una captura de pantalla como respaldo. Una vez confirmado que tienes el documento, regresa a Inleo y da click en "I have downloaded my keys and I'm ready to update my keys" o el botón verde.
Tu cuenta ahora será una cuenta completa, ya no podrás entrar con gmail, solo con estas llaves. No puedes perderlas. Imprímelas o copialas en papel y guardalas en un lugar seguro. No las guardes en tu correo u otros sitios en línea.
¿Qué son las llaves? ¿Por qué 5?
Las llaves son tus claves de acceso a diferentes acciones en Hive. Tienen diferentes niveles de autoridad o seguridad, te permiten controlar el riesgo en el uso de tu cuenta. Tener propiedad total significa tener responsabilidad total, y aunque existen ciertos métodos para recuperar cuentas bajo ciertas circunstancias, operaremos bajo la premisa de que si pierdes tus llaves no hay forma de recuperar tu cuenta.
Las llaves que recibirás son las siguientes:
Las que usarás constantemente:
Posting Key: para publicar contenido, comentar, dar votos positivos o negativos, gestionar seguidores y reclamar recompensas.
Active Key: Confirmar transacciones, acciones de trading, configuración.
Las que usarás en escasas ocasiones:
Memo key: Enviar y leer mensajes encriptados / secretos
Owner key: Requerida para cambiar las otras claves.
La que no debes introducir en ningún lugar y que es el último recurso para recuperar tu cuenta en caso de que tus otras llaves hayan sido comprometidas:
- Master key: Se usa para generar las otras llaves, es necesaria para poder recuperar la cuenta, por ello se usa en escasas ocasiones y es necesario mantenerla a salvo, y no perderla incluso si llegas a realizar un cambio de llaves, siempre mantén la original segura.
Llaveros
Aunque puedes utilizar directamente estas llaves, como por ejemplo para iniciar sesión en Inleo, hay aplicaciones y extensiones que te permiten mantener tus llaves seguras y accesibles en tu teléfono o PC.

Instalar Hive Keychain
- Primer paso
Descarga la aplicación de teléfono o la extensión para buscador desde su página o la Playstore
- Segundo paso
Elige la opción "Add an existing account"
- Tercer paso
Crea un pin para acceder a tu aplicación. Tu teléfono puede pedir autenticar con huella dactilar.
Este solo funcionará en la aplicación o en la extensión, cada uno por separado. La información se almacena en el dispositivo, no en línea, así que la clave que crees solo sirve en el dispositivo que estés usando y será diferente en todos los que uses aunque ingreses la misma cuenta de Hive.
- Cuarto paso
Ingresa tu nombre de usuario y la llave Master Key para cargar todas tus llaves en Keychain.
Puedes escoger ingresar con la posting key si deseas solo realizar acciones sociales desde el teléfono y no llevar contigo tu llave activa.
Una vez instaladas tus claves, ya puedes acceder a todas las aplicaciones y realizar todo tipo de acciones sin tener que introducir las llaves de nuevo, el llavero se hará cargo de manejarlas.

Account Creation
From Inleo we can create accounts using our Twitter or Email. The way we recommend is through Gmail.

Select your username, maximum 16 characters, no uppercase, no spaces. It will be the username visible to everyone and also your wallet. Confirm and allow Gmail to perform the operation.
Account Types
There are two types of accounts: Lite and Full.
Lite Account
A lite account is a lightweight account that allows you to perform basic actions only on InLeo, it does not allow you to perform actions related to the wallet or enter other Hive applications. It is useful to get to know InLeo and familiarize yourself with the page before claiming your keys.
Full Account
A full account is an account that gives you full access to all Hive features and applications. To create a full account, you need to claim your keys.
Claiming your keys
To claim your keys, follow these steps:
Go to settings and select "start claiming process" or "start claim" is the button with the key.
Click on "Use secure password" or the green button, copy that key as a backup. Then click on "Download keys" or the yellow button.
A text file will have been downloaded, open it and confirm that you can see it correctly, take a screenshot as a backup. Once you have confirmed that you have the document, return to Inleo and click on "I have downloaded my keys and I'm ready to update my keys" or the green button.
Your account will now be a full account, you will no longer be able to enter with gmail, only with these keys. You cannot lose them. Print them or copy them on paper and keep them in a safe place. Do not store them in your email or other online sites.
What are the keys? Why 5?
The keys are your access keys to different actions in Hive. They have different levels of authority or security, they allow you to control the risk in the use of your account. Having full ownership means having full responsibility, and although there are certain methods to recover accounts under certain circumstances, we will operate under the assumption that if you lose your keys there is no way to recover your account.
The keys you will receive are the following:
The ones you will use constantly:
Posting Key: to publish content, comment, upvote or downvote, manage followers and claim rewards.
Active Key: Confirm transactions, trading actions, configuration.
The ones you will use on rare occasions:
Memo key: Send and read encrypted / secret messages
Owner key: Required to change the other keys.
The one you should not enter anywhere and which is the last resort to recover your account in case your other keys have been compromised:
- Master key: It is used to generate the other keys, it is necessary to be able to recover the account, so it is used on rare occasions and it is necessary to keep it safe, and not to lose it even if you change your keys, always keep the original safe.
Keychains
Although you can use these keys directly, such as to log in to Inleo, there are applications and extensions that allow you to keep your keys safe and accessible on your phone or PC.

Installing Hive Keychain
Download the phone app or browser extension from its website: https://hive-keychain.com or the Playstore
Choose the option "Add an existing account"
Create a pin to access your application. Your phone may ask to authenticate with a fingerprint.
Enter your username and the Master Key to load all your keys into Keychain.
You can choose to enter with the posting key if you only want to perform social actions from the phone and not carry your active key with you.
Once your keys are installed, you can access all applications and perform all kinds of actions without having to enter the keys again, the keychain will take care of handling them.
