Pequeña biografía de mí mismo.
¡Hola comunidad! Me llamo Diego Jacob, tengo 25 años, soy caraqueño. Actualmente vivo en Chile, en la ciudad de Punta Arenas, al extremo sur del continente, casi llegando a la Antártida. Me dedico al trabajo en cocina, soy encargado de una pollería y en mis tiempos libres estoy al frente de una pantalla buscando información sobre web3 y criptomonedas.
Mis primeros 9 años de vida los viví muy a gusto en el Marques, en esas épocas me gustaba pasar el tiempo navegando por internet y jugando videojuegos, me encantaba el futbol, el rock y las chucherías. Mis padres se separaron en esa época, no me afecto en lo absoluto pues siempre fue como si estuvieran separados desde hace mucho tiempo. El cambio grande vino cuando me mude. Me quede con mi madre, vivíamos con mi tía en Los Chorros, estuve allí un año aproximadamente, hasta que mi madre decidió llevarme a la casa de su madre, mi abuela, que quedaba en Falcon, específicamente cerca de Pueblo Nuevo en la península de Paraguaná. Fue duro para mi acostumbrarme a la vida rural, era todo un niño citadino, pero poco a poco me fui adaptando y comencé a querer a esas hermosas tierras resecas.

En la adolescencia pase por muchas facetas, como cualquier adolescente con crisis existenciales, acercándome a la filosofía, la lectura, la escritura, el anime, los comics, las películas, las series, y la más importante, la tecnología. Recuerdo que tenía un modem USB prepago de Movilnet, el cual era mi acceso a internet de 11PM a 7AM, luego la conexión no servía para nada. En esos tiempos tenía unos 12-13 años, me interese por la programación, comencé a estudiar HTML, luego lo cambie por aprender a usar el Photoshop y después lo cambie por el Adobe Audition y Fl Studio. Estaba en constante aprendizaje, cambiando los dogmas que regían los valores de mi ser.
En el último año de secundaria pensaba en que carrera iba a estudiar en la universidad, el pensamiento de escoger una área rondaba mi mente recurrentemente, primero era psicología, luego ingeniera en sistemas, luego antropología, hasta que opte por la sociología, viaje a Caracas a presentar el examen de admisión en la UCV, pero mi calificación fue muy baja, mi última opción era escoger unas cuantas carreras y esperar que la OPSU me asignara un cupo en alguna. Artes Audiovisuales fue la carrera que me toco, estudiaba en la UNEFM en la ciudad de Coro, me encantaba la carrera, pero Coro quedaba muy lejos de mi casa, tenía que despertar a las 4AM y caminar unos 2km para llegar al terminal de buses, de allí hasta Coro me tardaba una hora con veinte minutos de recorrido.
Cuando me faltaban un par de meses para cumplir un año estudiando, mi tío comenzó a planear un viaje para Chile, quería emigrar, así que me anime a irme con él, recordé que el hermano de mi novia estaba en Perú, lo contacte, coordinamos y hasta el día de hoy mi carrera sigue congelada en Coro. Salimos de Venezuela a finales de febrero del 2018, yo me quede en la ciudad de Lima y mi tio siguió su camino hasta la ciudad de Punta Arenas. Perú fue una experiencia muy impactante para mí, no tenía experiencia laboral y nunca había estado tan lejos de mi familia. Comencé como muchos, vendiendo helados y gelatina en la calle, conocí a un señor, dueño de un restaurant, me ofreció trabajo y allí me quedé. Aprendí a cocinar comida peruana, la más común, la que más se consumía en la capital. En el 2019 volví a Venezuela, busqué a mi novia, nos casamos y nos fuimos a Perú.

Parece un post sobre aventuras y viajes en contra de la voluntad y la comodidad ¿no? Pero es parte de mí, salir de Venezuela marco un antes y un después, lo puedo denominar como mi "inicio en la adultez" viví muchas experiencias, aprendí muchísimo y sufrí, pero fue necesario para ser lo que soy. Espero poder contarles con mayor detalle los momentos más relevantes de mis viajes, para concluir con este tema de los viajes, en noviembre del 2021, me vine con mi esposa a la ciudad de Punta Arenas a reencontrarme con mi tío, muchos de mis primos también se vinieron, somos una gran colonia 😅

De tantos vaivenes descuide mucho la tecnología, pero no la abandone por completo, me adapte al uso de las criptomonedas, nfts, al trading y a las innovaciones en general. Abrí una nueva cuenta en Twitter y me adentré en eso que llamamos CT (CriptoTwitter) allí conocí a @cabetosag y me recomendó la blockchain de Hive, ya había tenido un acercamiento al ecosistema de Steem, pero nunca había profundizado, a través de Cabeto conocí muchos paisanos en CT que estaban también en Hive. Estuve en contacto con la comunidad de @mayvileros los cuales me guiaron en la partida para no perderme, les agradezco muchísimo. Poder bloggear/postear me llamo mucho la atención, me recordó a la infancia, donde existían comunidades de videojuegos como Habbo o WoW o webs como Taringa! Hoy veo a Hive como el punto de partida para volver a ser un personaje visible en internet, dejar el papel de espectador fantasma y poder conocer e interactuar con personas con gustos en común. Comencé el curso de @soy-laloreto pero no pude esperar a que terminara, desde la primera clase ya estaba escribiendo un poco de esta mini-biografía.

Por ahora quiero centrarme en conocer personas, en aprender de ellas, hacer comunidad y aportar mi granito de arena a las buenas causas que necesiten colaboración. Buscando la salida de la monotonía intente estudiar tres lenguajes de programación al mismo tiempo, inglés, análisis técnico, y otras cosillas, pero me sature el cerebro, parece que Hive puede ser ese espacio en donde podre relajarme y escribir como si no hubiera un mañana.

Audiovisual Arts was the career that I chose, I studied at the UNEFM in the city of Coro, I loved the career, but Coro was very far from my house, I had to wake up at 4AM and walk about 2km to get to the bus terminal, from there to Coro it took me an hour and twenty minutes of travel.
When I was a couple of months away from a year of studying, my uncle started planning a trip to Chile, he wanted to emigrate, so I decided to go with him, I remembered that my girlfriend's brother was in Peru, I contacted him, we coordinated and to this day my career is still frozen in Coro. We left Venezuela at the end of February 2018, I stayed in the city of Lima and my uncle continued his way to the city of Punta Arenas. Peru was a very shocking experience for me, I had no work experience and I had never been so far away from my family. I started like many, selling ice cream and jelly on the street, I met a man, owner of a restaurant, he offered me a job and I stayed there. I learned to cook Peruvian food, the most common, the most consumed in the capital. In 2019 I returned to Venezuela, looked for my girlfriend, we got married and went to Peru.

It seems like a post about adventures and travels against the will and comfort, right? But it is part of me, leaving Venezuela marked a before and after, I can call it my "beginning of adulthood" I lived many experiences, I learned a lot and suffered, but it was necessary to be what I am. I hope to tell you in more detail the most relevant moments of my trips, to conclude with this topic of travel, in November 2021, I came with my wife to the city of Punta Arenas to reunite with my uncle, many of my cousins also came, we are a large colony 😅

From so many ups and downs I neglected technology, but I did not abandon it completely, I adapted to the use of cryptocurrencies, nfts, trading and innovations in general. Today I see Hive as the starting point to become a visible character on the internet again, leaving the role of ghost spectator and being able to meet and interact with people with common tastes. I started @soy-laloreto's course but I couldn't wait for it to finish, from the first class I was already writing a bit of this mini-biography.
