DIY Hose Roller, Fermented Garlic, Air Lift Pump, Pickles, Nettle Fertiliser, EggShells, Circumcision for Fruit Trees, Landscaping a Large Pond

It's been some time since we've published 'The Garden Shed', but we've chased out the rats, dusted the shelves, neatly hung up the tools and we're ready with a brand new edition, which will continue into the year. It's a little bit different to a usual curation - read all about it below.

But before we get onto that, let's welcome @ligayagardener as the primary editor of 'The Garden Shed'. You'll see more than one of his posts below - if anyone's interested in growing practicalities, it's this Hive gardener! So if you're posting #gardening #diy related content, he'll have his eye out - with @riverflows and @minismallholding helping out with the gems we find as well. He'll always include one of his own garden advice posts upon our urging - it's always handy for us to have them easy to find in the Collections in Peakd when we need them!

*This week you'll find a gorgeous cucumber pickle from @thebigsweed, a conversation starter about organic, free fertiliser from @atmalove, a fabulous garden tidy hose roller from @lordreaper, supercharged garlic, using eggshells and an air lift pump from @ligaygardener, a novel way to get trees to fruit in SE Asia by @umirais, and an inspiring post about digging a large pond from @leighscotsford.

What Is The Garden Shed?

This collection is designed as an archive to easily find and reference posts which might assist fellow gardeners.

It is not published weekly, rather, upon discovery of EIGHT posts. This means sometimes posts may come out twice a week or once a month!

Each publication, we award THREE recipients with a 5 percent beneficiary, plus a beneficiary for the curator of the post at the discretion of the curator. Any remaining HIVE will be powered up to help with upvotes. Please support by upvoting, reblogging or delegating.

As some of these posts may be past payout, we ask you to go and support at least one of the feature authors to put a smile on their face.

Thankyou this edition to the featured authors - the three beneficiaries this week are @thebigsweed, @lordreaper and @umirais. I'm foregoing my curator rewards this week to support the community, but next edition @ligayagardener will also take a beneficiary in acknowledgement of the work that it takes to put this together as a resource for us all.

May I ask you a big favour? If you have a little HIVE to spare, Hive gardeners via @gardenhive (the curation account) would be so grateful for a little delegation of any amount. This really helps our gardening community to grow and upvote and support gardeners on HIVE. We upvote everyday to support you all! Much gratitude to everyone that helps out, engages, upvotes, reblogs and generally joins in this lovely gardening community on the Hive Blockchain!

The first I've heard of the garden shed was when you mentioned that my post on pickle making would be added to the collection. With the wonderful collection of posts archived in the shed, it provides such a vast array of ideas and knowledge that can be easily accessed.

It's a great idea to put the practical ideas into a garden shed like this. I'm sure that I can keep it more organised than my own shed 😁
Just delegated another 100 HP too!
