Mis inicios en la pintura / My beginnings in painting:
Hola chicos y chicas de Hive, espero se encuentren muy bien hoy, quisiera contarles éste pequeño hobby que tengo. Desde muy pequeña siempre me llamó la atención pintar, tanto que siempre soñaba de que cuando fuera a la universidad iba a estudiar arquitectura o diseño industrial.
Al finalizar mis estudios de bachillerato me tomé un año de descanso y es allí dónde inicios mis clases de pintura al óleo por aproximadamente 6 meses de los cuales realicé varios cuadros e incluso fui a una exposición de pintura en mi ciudad. A partir de allí realicé varios cuadros a familiares y amigos, estaba muy enfocada en eso y aunque me gustaba lo que estaba haciendo en el fondo no era lo que quería hacer...
Cuando llegó el momento de decidir que carrera universitaria iba a escoger, me decidí por la arquitectura. Ese era mi gran sueño, ser arquitecto, pero ésta carrera en ese entonces no la daban en la ciudad donde vivía y tenía que trasladarme a la capital de Venezuela (Caracas) y mis padres se negaron rotundamente a que me fuera a vivir sola a la capital ya que era menor de edad y a parte quedaba muy lejos de la ciudad en donde vivía.
Entonces mis padres me obligaron a escoger otra carrera universitaria que la dieran en mi ciudad pero no me llamaba la atención ninguna... Así que decidí estudiar Turismo, no era tan de mi agrado pero tenía que estudiar algo.
Al principio no me convencía pero después me enamoré de mi carrera, por ende dejé de pintar por un tiempo ya que me sentí frustrada por no poder cumplir mi sueño de ser arquitecto. Sólo me dediqué a mi carrera y poner en práctica la creatividad que tenía en la realización de folletos, pancartas, mapas, bosquejos de infraestructuras turísticas, etc...
Uno de los primeros cuadros que pinté para la casa en dónde vivía con mis padres, son de paisajes porque siempre me llamaba la atención ese tipo de pintura, porque me llevaba a experimentar la difuminación de colores entre el mar, el cielo y las montañas
Un día soñé en un paisaje de campo y quise expresarlo en una pintura, usualmente las pinturas que hacía era porque me los imaginaba, porque soñaba en ellos o por pura inspiración, cada vez que agarraba un pincel y un papel para pintar, ponía mi mente a pura imaginación.
Estos cuadros que le mostraré a continuación son inspiración a que nunca he podido tener la oportunidad de conocer la nieve, esa estación del año que todo niño sueña por conocer, yo sigo con ganas de conocerlo y sé que pronto Dios me dará esa oportunidad. Me gusta esa gama de azul y el contraste que tiene con el blanco.
Cómo pudieron darse cuenta en algunas fotos de mis pinturas está mi firma y la fecha en que los hice, en el año 87 hice todos esos cuadros de paisajes, con sólo 20 años de edad. Y si sacamos cuentas, verán que esas pinturas ya llevan 35 años en casa de mi Madre.
Luego de esos últimos cuadros, sólo me dediqué más a profundidad con mi carrera, dibujos que hacía o manualidades para los trabajos escolares de mis hijos.
Luego me mudé con mi familia a otra ciudad de Venezuela que es donde vivimos hoy en día y hace aproximadamente 7 años, hice éstos cuadros que les mostraré a continuación.
La inspiración que tuve con éstas pinturas de negras africanas, es porque son poco común de ver y casi no las venden ya que no a todos les gusta este tipo de pintura. Me atreví a pintarlas y hacer algo nuevo, porque a pesar que dibuja y hacia cualquier tipo de manualidades para mis hijos, nunca hice algo así en pintura, que ahora están guindados en mi casa.
Siempre he pensado que la pintura es un arte en donde podemos dejar volar nuestra imaginación. En mi caso, siempre lo tomaré como Hobby porque en momentos de angustias, estrés, molestia o tristeza, siempre lo uso para liberarme de todo aquello que me pesa. Me ayuda a seguir creciendo y experimentar hasta donde puede llegar mi creatividad y éstos cuadros son el claro ejemplo de todo eso.
Les daré un pequeño y gran consejo, siempre busquen la manera de crecer día a día, de experimentar cosas nuevas, quién quita que se descubran una habilidad que los hará más felices de lo que son hoy en día ❤️.

Hi guys and girls of Hive, I hope you are feeling well today, I would like to tell you about this little hobby I have. Since I was a little girl I was always interested in painting, so much that I always dreamed that when I went to university I would study architecture or industrial design.
At the end of my high school studies I took a year off and that's where I started my oil painting classes for about 6 months of which I made several paintings and even went to a painting exhibition in my city. From there I made several paintings for family and friends, I was very focused on that and although I liked what I was doing in the background it was not what I wanted to do...
When the time came to decide which university career I was going to choose, I decided on architecture. That was my great dream, to be an architect, but this career at that time was not given in the city where I lived and I had to move to the capital of Venezuela (Caracas) and my parents flatly refused to let me go to live alone in the capital because I was a minor and besides it was very far from the city where I lived.
Then my parents forced me to choose another university career in my city but I was not attracted by any of them.... So I decided to study Tourism, it was not so much to my liking but I had to study something.
At first I was not convinced but then I fell in love with my career, so I stopped painting for a while because I felt frustrated for not being able to fulfill my dream of being an architect. I only dedicated myself to my career and put into practice the creativity I had in the realization of brochures, banners, maps, sketches of tourist infrastructure, etc...
One of the first paintings I painted for the house where I lived with my parents, were landscapes because I was always attracted to this type of painting, because it led me to experience the blurring of colors between the sea, the sky and the mountains.
One day I dreamed of a countryside landscape and I wanted to express it in a painting, usually the paintings I did were because I imagined them, because I dreamed of them or by pure inspiration, every time I grabbed a brush and a paper to paint, I put my mind to pure imagination.
These paintings that I will show you below are an inspiration because I have never had the opportunity to know the snow, that season of the year that every child dreams of knowing, I still want to know it and I know that soon God will give me that opportunity. I like that range of blue and the contrast it has with the white.
As you can see in some of the pictures of my paintings there is my signature and the date when I made them, in the year 87 I made all those landscape paintings, when I was only 20 years old. And if you do the math, you will see that these paintings have been in my mother's house for 35 years.
After those last paintings, I only dedicated myself more in depth with my career, drawings I made or handicrafts for my children's school work.
Then I moved with my family to another city in Venezuela, which is where we live today, and about 7 years ago, I made these paintings that I will show you below.
The inspiration I had with these African black paintings, is because they are uncommon to see and almost not sold because not everyone likes this type of painting. I dared to paint them and do something new, because although I draw and do any kind of crafts for my children, I never did something like this in paint, which are now hanging in my house.
I have always thought that painting is an art where we can let our imagination fly. In my case, I will always take it as a hobby because in moments of anguish, stress, discomfort or sadness, I always use it to free myself from everything that weighs me down. It helps me to continue to grow and experience how far my creativity can go and these paintings are a clear example of all that.
I will give you a great little piece of advice, always look for ways to grow day by day, to experience new things, who knows if you will discover a skill that will make you happier than you are today ❤️.
