Me encuentro nuevamente con ustedes queridos amigos de catarsis, paseándome por esta comunidad para darles a conocer el proceso de inflamación y enrojecimiento que viví durante siete días la semana pasada, los dos primeros días en el ojo derecho y a partir del tercer día me tomó el ojo izquierdo.

Me inició en el ojo derecho, un día amanecí con el ojo un poco rosado, pensé que me había caído una basura o que era la tensión del ojo, en ningún momento me imaginé que era conjuntivitis, en otra oportunidad he sufrió de ese mal hace muchos años atrás y me había iniciado con un hormigueo en uno de los ojos, como que me hubiese caído arena en la vista, pero esta vez fue diferente, sorprendiéndome esta enfermedad oftálmica.
Lo primero que pensé, bueno estoy saliendo del proceso de cervical y hombro derecho del cual les he mencionado en post anteriores y ahora me da conjuntivitis, la verdad es que estoy salada como se dice en criollo.
Para proseguir, a los dos días me inició un picor en el ojo derecho, ojo lloroso, se me pegaban las pestañas y el otro me amaneció rojo, lo que quiere decir que se pasó al ojo izquierdo.

To continue, two days later I started having itching in my right eye, watery eye, my eyelashes were sticking together and the other one was red, which means that it went to my left eye.

Mi esposo me decía tienes que ir al oftalmólogo, negándome porque yo soy de un pueblo y allá se curan colocándose compresas de agua de papa y lavándose la cara con agua de manzanilla, apliqué esto y nada.
Mi hija @mjpacheco al tercer día me dijo que la vista es muy delicada como para que estés con esos remedios caseros; me revisó y me comentó que esos remedios caseros no me iban a hacer efecto porque hay varios tipos de conjuntivitis y este que tú tienes es una conjuntivitis aguda bacteriana, quiere decir que tienes que medicarte con antibióticos porque tienes inflamación en los parpados, enrojecimiento en el interior de los parpados y en la membrana blanca que recubre el ojo derecho en un ojo más que en otro y se te pega el ojo y ves borroso. Además me dijo que debía tener cuidado porque este tipo de conjuntivitis se propaga rápido y puedes contaminar a mi papá, debe ser que te pasaste las manos sucias por la cara o que cuando te dan los masajes, la camilla o la sábana estaba sucia y como te colocan boca abajo para aplicarte los masajes te contaminaste.

Me indicó dos gotas de tobrasol en cada ojo y terramicina que tenía en casa por 7 dias, estos productos tienen Cortico esteroides trimetoprina, son antibióticos efectivos contra muchos tipos de bacterias, me dijo que con eso se me debe aliviar y quitar el enrojecimiento en dos días si no tienes que ir al oftalmólogo, yo soy una estudiante de medicina y voy aplicar lo que he visto en la teoría.
Tal como me dijo, se me fue aliviando el dolor, el enrojecimiento de los dos ojos, ya al quinto día desapareció el dolor, la inflamación de los parpados, quedándome solo la parte interna del párpado un poco rosado que al pasar los días desapareció en su totalidad.

En conclusión me puse a pensar puede ser cierto lo que me dijo mi hija como me había contaminado, pero también recordé en ese momento que me coloqué un lápiz delineador de ojo y al transcurrir unas tres horas se me empezó el ojo derecho a poner rosado, hasta que al siguiente día lo tenía todo rojo, lo más seguro es que lo que causó mi enfermedad fue el lápiz delineador.
